You're totally missing the point. I don't think the point was to try to make it look like you're awesome at this game. I think the point was to:

1. Make a cool Lego Robot

2. Try to see how consistent the Wii's accelerometers are, and whether or not a robot could consistently manipulate them the same way

3. Make a cool Lego robot

And finally...

4. Show off the cool robot made of Legos.

Winning Wii Bowling is probably nothing but a convenient way of showing off how well it works.
