u cant say that....firstly, jordan rudess needs to change his patch though...too much wah wah...kinda melts down the staccato feel...its almost like he is playing with the ribbon all along...Janne's lead patch is way better...and his solos are natural minor/blues oriented...Jordan's solos are PURELY progressive/rock oriented...:) so both are incomparable...and God's in their own way....

Janne Wirman is 10x better then Alexi Laiho, i mean Alexi is a decent guitar player, but he is extremely over rated. You don't see many keyboardist like Wirman. I mean you can find a person that plays like Laiho anywhere.

I wouldn't say that Alexi is merely a decent guitar player, he is an incredible guitar player that I will agree is overrated, but should not be dismissed as just decent. As for the finding people who can play like them, of course you can find more guitarists that play like Alexi, but that's because there are so few talented keyboardists in metal, since the majority of metal bands don't employ keyboards, only black metal, melodic death, and some metalcore, and occasionally progressive.
