i don't know people say he's doing such a bad job as president but consider what he inherited. Are we expect him to fix everything in one term? I believe most of his decision had been good such as limited involvement in Libya so it would be like another Iraq or Afghanistan. to me his decision to extend the bush tax cuts was stupid, rich people already had 8 years of tax cuts. rich do need more money. the top 2% control 70-80% of the money in circulation.

@VNKL2010 What are you talking about? He's doing a great job. As for the tax cuts. He made the best deal possible under the circumstances. We need to make sure there is no Tea Party in Congress next time so he won't have to cut deals like this. It takes Congress, The Senate and then the President's signature. The President has to negotiate with the Republican Congress until the next election. Democrats and Liberals who didn't bother to vote in 2010 are the ones to blame for that.

@VNKL2010 I "heard" that extending those tax cuts was a step he had to take in compromising with the republicans in order to make advancements towards universal health care. Then again, about 99% of what people say is all based on what they "heard".

I'm not sure I'd agree there. Obama just seems to have a bad habit of caving in to Republican demands again and again. Don't get me wrong, he's a million times better than Bush, but he's far from perfect.
Having said that, I feel sure that he'll serve another term as president and I still have quite high hopes for him.

That's the modern democratic duopoly for you, it's a shame since both respective presidents were elected on non-interventionist platforms, Obama has failed his voters by creating a third war and expanding the war of terror. The war, I'm sorry if this sound glib, is a symptom of his inability to put them into their place if he had fought more we would have healthcare and been out of the wars. The sheer expectations that Obama would singlehandedly restore the vast and significantly issues that US stood before perhaps explain why I'm so disappointed in his continuance of many most of Bush's foreign policy. I'm a Conservative, so domestically there is seldom I could agree with him on. I'm Russian so I'm only concerned on their foreign policy mainly.
By championing independents and third parties like Constitution party will provoke real action by the duopoly in their representation.

He involved himself in a civil dispute by going through congress, hence engaging in a protracted civil war with an ally with connections to terrorist groups in North Africa and the Middle East, quite a concern. So yes, he created a war by funding a side which would have been defeated in the first few weeks.

@ForImperium So it's "involved" now - quite a distinction from create. A civil conflict that would have possibly been over at the expense of thousands of lives. He took a limited military action under the direct auspices of a UN security council resolution (with support of the Arab League) as have French and other western militaries. He also did not "fund" anyone, this would imply direct financial aid from the US government to the Libyan rebels. Please be more precise in your language.
