  • But will it blend?

  • I imagine he cringed when the producers told him to say "...or putting soups through sieves, which is so old-fashioned..."

In a 3-star restaurant like his, everything - soups, stocks, purees - goes through a sieve. hahhhh.

  • @guitarbumx lol, i was thinking the same thing. this whole ad is scripted because it's all lies coming out his mouth.

  • lol i thought bamix means bmx wrong spelled and when i saw gordon with a puma shirt i even was sure that he is talking about sports XD

  • i did that to my brocolli soup! yum!

  • i lol so hard every time he says sexy

  • I agree on the cold part...

  • I'm vegan and even though I don't make most of the dishes you share I want you to know how much I appreciate all of your bamix vids. I have a Red Deluxe Bamix and it gets used every day. It makes vegan mayo in seconds and everything blends so much better with a bamix! Thanks again for the great vids!

  • You can find the bamix on Amazon.ca and Amazon.com

  • Is it wrong that I touched myself to this?

  • i can smell sellout from this video

  • @kelvin88tan Yeah, nice commercial....

  • Gordon in a commercial, is like my girlfriend cooking...TERRIBLE.

  • Why use oil as decor? I am French and shocked at this recipe is to olive oil gazpacho! No need to be a chef to make such a shit!

  • @chichquebab Olive oil is good for a finishing touch. Shut your damn cheese eating mouth you stinky French bastard!

  • WTF Gazpacho is suppose to be cold.. da fuck.

  • @Shadow194 yeah he cooks it then cools it

  • @Apexs20s Its suppose to be cold THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH.

  • used one at work before piece if shit blender useless after a month of use. do not buy or trust the washed up hack

  • @weedyboydetectives

That's because you used it wrong.

I've had mine for about 2 years, now.

Shit for meringues, admittedly, but otherwise brilliant.

  • They were demoing this at a home show yesterday. Best mayonnaise I've ever had. ;_;

Would probably work with a generic immersion blender though (god damn that was good mayo).

  • shame on you |!!!mmmmm...selling your soul.

  • What is his cooking equipment. His pans look like their cast iron cause I havent seen cookery equipment like that....except a cast Iron skillet

  • @Kahunaalexander His pans are by Woll, they are great

  • this is not gazpacho, you idiot

  • cooking gazpacho defeats the purpose

  • yeah i thought that was wierd too lol. that's more like a tomato soup ain't it?

  • Exactly! In many parts of Spain, gazpacho is a refreshing drink, not a soup, and it is ALWAYS cold.

Calling what he made 'gazpacho' would be like calling potato soup 'vichysoisse'

  • submersion blender?

  • Is she really creamy and flavorful?

  • She tastes like prawns.

  • it's called a stick mixer. not a electric whisk.

  • actually with the basic stuff it comes with it chops strains stirs beats aerates emulsify's mixes puree's and grinds and if you get everything it can do you've got a complete kitchen utensil that does everything your cooking/baking can throw at it.

  • Why are people on here arguing about an electric whisk.

  • boo

  • If you have not used a Bamix you have no Idea what you are talking about they are amazing! I am sure he would use it. And I'm not a fan of the guy. I think he's a prick.

  • the pans are from a company called Woll. I have £5 of them, they are about £80-£100 each.

    they are the dogs bollocks

  • Soup looks good and blender seems to work fine, but I thought "gazpacho" was a raw soup, not boiled to within an inch of its life as this one is.

  • Oh god !!! How false was that !

...If you DARED to bring that thing into his kitchen he would just freak out ! ... what a load of false crap !!!

  • Fucking sellout.

  • Are chefs not allowed to use hand mixers or have a preference?

  • of course they are. but if their preference is based on the check the company is writing him and not his actual preference, that makes him a sell out.

  • And how do you know if it's not his preference?

There are several big named food celebrities that do paid advertisements for a product they actually use/prefer. Alton Brown and his knife advertisements come to mind.

  • i don't know. i never said it was or wasn't his preference. hnksnw claimed he was selling out. you insinuated that he wasn't. althgouh without talking to gordon himself, if i had to guess... he sold out.

  • Of course, because it makes you somehow feel better about your pathetic life to try and insult someone successful regardless of the truth.

  • put aside the fact that you're wrong for second... why are you taking this so personally? my life is pathethic? regardless of the truth? you talked to gordon and know for a fact that he didn't do this promotion for a pay cheque?

  • Because bandwagon celebrity bashers are the most annoying people considering they are the same people that created celebrity in the first place.

For anyone that actually followed Ramsey before he became really huge commercially, you'd know he supported Bamix before they paid him to do so.

Besides, your logic is flawed. Do you know for a fact that he did this promotion just for the money? You think a chef with Michelin stars needs a few extra dollars from Bamix?

  • i said i didn't know if bamix was his preference or not. i'm not bashing him. and even if i did, it would be of my own opinion and not becuase of my "jumping on the bandwagon"

michelin stars don't mean financial security. there are loads of michelin level chefs who struggle to make ends meet.

  • which really isn't the case with Gordon considering he's got I think 4 or 5 five star restuarants that make him hundreds of thousands of dollars every year so he obviously didn't need to do this demo for the money because he's one of the most successful cooks right now (and also the chef who has the most food shows on tv right now with 3 of them)

  • it's a big misconception, because although gordon pays himself a huge salary, gordon ramsay holdings are in serious trouble. no matter how "successful" you are as a restaurantuer, it's always a struggle to make money, even for ramsay. celebrity chefs are constantly looking for ways to make money. if they didn't you wouldn't see ramsay on tv or in books or selling chocolates, or ready made meals, and product endorsement. that's where the money comes from.

  • well considering I've seen him and his students from Hell's Kitchen and The F Word use a bamix sometime or another on the shows (yes I watch those shows almost everytime they're on) I don't think that he would be considered a sell-out if he's using them on 2 of his most popular shows.

  • Hello

does anybody know what brand of frying pan Gordon uses ?? I mean the black one that stands next to the black jug ??

  • Well, olive oil is better for you than sunflower oil and archide oil(ugh)

    balsamic vinegar,yummie.

And ladies and gentlemen..I have seen all the Bamix vids, and Gordon actually managed to not say 'f*ck' once. Not once!

    Wow.Well done Gordon.Lol.

  • its not sellout. we do that in the resto...

    not same food

  • It's kind of sad seeing this level of sellout.

  • cool!

  • aha, the brans is called Bamix.

  • What bamix brand name is that, model number?

  • he is obsessed w/olive oil & balsamic vinegar. Really.
