  • Fuck these advertisements.

  • stop all the comparisons, realize that it is really hard to come up with anything original these days, and just enjoy the music.

  • Am I the only one tired of comments like Dusty Springfield, a graet American singer or, Americans invented the light bulb and if it wasnt for the states you would all be talking French now or whatever. It goes on and on.. What planet do these people live on? How can we help these people get back to reality? Please respond:-)

  • jamie cullum - in my opinion way more talented than Michael Buble - in every way - singing, composing, instrument playing (the two later that Buble cant do)

  • BEST RESPONSE POSTED.

  • very good!

  • "All At Sea" is a nautical phrase meaning -- all disoriented or confused. When you're all at sea, you're way out there hoping for the best since you can't see land.

  • Not that I know of, Alfinium, but I wonder if this was written about taking opiates...like the way it looks like Michael Jackson will be found in his autopsy,..just wondering if Jamie wrote this about taking heroin.

  • noooo! this is my relaxing song! don't ruin it with drugs! :-p

it really is my relaxing song, though. he has a stunning voice.

Where did this death thing come from, though?

    say it ain't so!

  • Is this song about taking heroin??

  • Sheila,

He's dropped of the planet . Some of us would like him back

  • Maybe he turned into chuck bass?

    JK! lol!

  • Jaimie before he went all self-indulgent. His orginal public want melody...not ephemiral jazz gone weird

  • this was like his first single, the record company usually picks which ones get radio and mtv play. sometimes artists have to do work they don't even like just to break through.

  • This is one of my favorite songs by Jamie Cullum! I listen to at least one of his albums each day, and I can't wait for this song to come on. I'm a big fan of him...

  • He may be more pop in this albun, but he still unbelieveble! What he mada to the jazz and to the music is undeniable!

    Love him!!!

  • I really like Twentysomething, but I think Catching Tales was a departure from the jazz elements. He seems like he went more pop.

  • Just love it

  • Hmm, I don't think he's married! I thought I heard something about him having an affair with a married actress?? Not that it matters, he's an amazing musician.

  • Oooo old news, I suppose, he's dating Sophie Dahl :).

  • no jamie cullum isn´t solo.

    he has a wife.

    but the song...

    i like that so!

  • i agree with u. but it's nice to see that he creates some form of enthousiasm for jazz.

  • This sounds more like pop or a "jazz for the masses." It's got some jazz overtones, but no way would I really classify this as jazz. Real jazz goes to those Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Dave Brubeck types.

This is more like Aqualung + John Mayer put together. And it's nice. But if it's being marketed as jazz, it's wrong.

  • Lol, some people say Gershwin is jazz, some say Bill Evans is more classically influenced and will be more influential than Bach in the future. Or Chopin, you could say some of his harmonies and chords are very if not for a better word to use "jazzy", if not a better example franz liszt and some of his atonal pieces, now I can to think of it there loads of classical composers who could be classed as 'jazz'......

  • .......Or you could go onto say that some of these heavy metal guitarists e.g van halen are almost classical due to that music (noise and distortion) being extremely diatonic and very similar to the way bach worked. Did van halen do some transcriptions? Of course they do not even entertain being as genius as bach works or anything, i'm merely thinking aloud and thinking of extreme examples that do not reflect my opinions......

  • .......I don't think you can say anything IS or ISN'T jazz, the overlap is just to big. But however, I think you should refer to miles davis' music not as jazz, but one of these sub categories, such as bebop or new orleans or whatever, I wouldn't know what miles davis would come under, as he would probably come under so many! As for jamie cullum, he's done plenty covers of what would be called 'jazzy' songs by many artists who consider themselves under the hugely expansive label of jazz.

  • ..... as for a label I would give, good music :) lmao

  • i like this song

  • LOVE him...

I saw him playing "I get a kick out of you" at Hollywood Bowl. He's a freaking genius who plays mad piano.

  • Wow...you're acutally a fucking retard aren't you? When you learn to speak like a normal human being and stop making up words (gooder?!) then, you may be permitted to voice your somewhat irrelevant opinion. Comparing Cullum and Montana; Cullum who writes his own arrangements and music, and Jazz is generally far more complex than other genres. Montana is given some music to sing which she does...adequately. I wouldn't be surprised if she has pitch correction when on stage. There IS no comparison.

  • You're my new favorite e-person.

  • Whaa? I replied to someone's clever comment, now it's gone =[
