Hey! I have a MS 20 synth, a dopfer mcv4 and logic. I just cannot get it to work. i put the gate out into the trig in jack and the cv1/2 out into the vco 1+2 cv in. It plays the notes, but if i hit stop in logic, the ms20 plays the last note endlessly. i dispair, please help me!
dude i wish i knew you coz i was in amsterdam last week, i need to meet someone who knows as much about synths as you do. started to get into them a while back, been a guitar head for ten years so starting from scratch again, got a Korg Delta which is pretty cool, would love to have a set up like you have there
Korg Ms-20 is a Synthesizer from 1979, and the Korg ms-20 controller is a replica from a few years back (and not a synth but a controller) see my other post below
i suppose your Korg is a MIDI-controller. Is it USB-connected? I would like to get me one of those... Anyways i already got the Korg Legacy Software Pack, do you know how to use it in Logic as a software instrument, is that possible? Do I need extra hard/software for this? I just would like to use the KORG pack in Logic with my regular MIDI-keyboard.
It is NOT a midi-controller and not usb connected, as i said in my video description, i'm using a Doepfer MCV to convert Midi into CV ( CV is like an old midi.. it was uses on most pre-80's synhts..)
So, you cannot use it as a midi controller, you'll need the korg legacy ms-20 for that, its a replica usb controller and its 1/3 smaller than the original one. The one i'm using is from 1979.
NICE MUSIC LALALA!!! :)

Is there a difference between a Korg Ms-20 and a Korg Ms-20 controller?

nice little melody... reminds me of some kettel or plaid-tracks.
