i felt embarrassed to be a spidey fan at moments in this film. the dancing scenes were especially horrifying - the black suit does not make someone dance down the street like a cunt, it would make them bump into people and start fights - it amplifies aggression not funk. also if venom was done properly then hed rival ledgers joker. where was the huge tongue, massive physique, monsterous voice and sense that this guy could kill spider man? none were there and it disappointed me.

Seems like they try to stand out more with graphics than acting quality. I can say personally I'd rather see a masterfully coordinated fight scene over marveling at CG highlights such as sandman and flying bomb-blade-things.

The movie should have been epic. Venom is easily Spidermans most alike and deadly villain. Why kill him off? Especially as he was hardly in it. They drifted too far away from the cartoons and the comic they really didn't explain the symbiote very well at all. There were to many "bad guys" in the main plot. The core rivaly should have been on the troubles between Spiderman the symbiote and his main and most worthy opponent in and out of the suit. Eddie Brock and Venom.

Eddie brock was all wrong, evil parker was all wrong, the suit wasnt even explained...and the birth of venom never happened.
