I Get past the CD KEY screen, and into the game menu, but when I click on Start New Game, it asks to "Please Insert Half Life CD", (it is inserted already) and then tells me "Could not validate Half Life."

I did find a file in the Valve Resource Folder maybe removing it will enable it from asking for Serial Number will have to test that out to see if it works at some point.

The game will ask for your CD key printed on the CD case. Since you pirated the game and don't have the case, you use one of the keys this guy gave you in the video description. Not that hard to figure out, people... stop whining and use some common sense ffs
