dam boys dont be nervous its just well service my operator would eat these guys for breakfast....wtf is this puss n boots well service sorry guys but theres just sometimes in the oilfield you gotta put out.
Wow, never seen rod wrenches move that slow. And why does he put the wrenches down? Are they too heavy for him? These guys wouldn't last a day in the Alberta oil patch. Slow and lazy.
That would be very bad, but it does happen. They would fall back to the seat nipple like a rocket depending on how far they have to fall. Could part the tubing too.
@uwine81 rod tongz are slow to but they r still faster than these guyz ! they should let sum real hands get up there and work !these guys should stick with washing the damn rig or sumthing ! hahahahaha ; )
@mikeedobb999999991 i work on a Apex Rod Rig that just got built a month ago and we got it in Slave Lake, Alberta and the blocks go so fast its scary. its a 2011 rod rig with disk brakes. these guys are slack asses, one roughneck on a crazy fast rig. these guys gotter made eh
i sure wouldnt like working on those small rigs, get sum rod tongs and than ull see rods moving, come up here to north dakota and ill show u real rigs
@DHOMIE69 I don't know nything at all about oil wells or pulling rods.. or what the rods are for.. What the Elevtor is or why it has weight on it, but I am curious what you are meaning in your comment.. Can you fill me in?

why do you guys have two floor hands. you guys work to hard. bending over way to much when you can put subs and rod rams in and rench faster with your thumbs
As seen in the video, one man is in charge of the elevators and the other is in charge of the rods and wrenching. They switch out periodically for a rest.
This crew likes the height for wrenching. The floor is hydraulic so they can set it to whatever height they prefer.
They also use wrenches because they do not damage the rods. These wells are very corrosive to any nicks on the rods.
Why in the hell are you sending the poor derrick hand the elevators all crooked? If ya'll sent them to me like that I would make it even harder to wrench them rods....
what size rods are those??? anything 3/4 or smaller they want to to get with one snap on my rig and also at 1:06 if u do that on my rig your buying beer!!!! trust me u learn quick
Looks like the operator needs a Red Bull. Is he awake. Damn thats slow.

If I had to guess, it would be easier to work in the cold than the heat. The coldest I have seen it around here is 8*F.

The rod elevators were sent up straight. Maybe they look off because of the camera angle.
