The FMPR, a formerly AFT afiliate, is about to start a strike in february against the attempts of the goverment not to recognize the FMPR as the exclusive representative party of the teachers in the bargaining negotiation table. The FMPR is about to start a strike and the SEIU objective is to launch an election that will try to defer, or defeat that strike.
Shame on you SEIU.
