Thanks for uploading this. I've always wanted to know what the lifts in this car park are like.
Out of interest, are there any stairs in this car park? And also, whereabouts do the lifts (and stairs) come out in relation to the enterance to the ferry terminal?
@Meanmanmartin2007 There are 2 enterances to the ferry terminal (arrivals and departures). the first lift goes from the main departure area to a long passage. the second lift is at the end of the passage and starts at the first floor (not the ground floor which it says) and goes to the car park levels. the third and forth lifts go from the main arrival area to another car park. and the last lift that wasn't working would have gone from outside the arrivals to the ticket booth on car park level 1
Thanks for your response. Sorry to ask another question but is the first lift the one which foot passengers would use to access the ferry from the departure building?
Also, did you see the coach parking area during your visit?
@Meanmanmartin2007 foot passengers get to the ferry by going up the first lift then going along the passage and passport check is near the second lift, and after that the passengers get on a (enviro 200) bus whick takes them to the ferry.
I did see where the bus stop is for the shuttle bus to dover station, and I think that is where the coaches park aswell, but I don't know.
The gated lift might be a Otis?
