@01pokemonster first open safari then at the top left hand corner it should say safari click on it then go down with your mousse and it should say reset safari.

@GiannicTheGod yez, it worked on my macboook running lion! but make sure you use first the 0.25 then restart safari, type in the 0001 thingy and then restart safari, it'll work very well!

When I did this on my machine running 5.1 it acted very strange but 5.1 is a piece of crap. I reverted back to 5.03 and now it's blazing. If anyone wants to revert back to 5.03 (watch out for the spaces, YouTube blocks URLs so this is what you have to do to post, so take those out in your browser after pasting): macworld. com /article/161367/2011/07/ revert_safari. html

Thank you very much. The trick worked so well that even my "You tube" down load time has improved dramatically. However when I went back to the "Terminal panel" the codes were not there on the Terminal panel. Is this what one expects?

@dazacman40 Safari and Chrome (based on webkit) are the fastest browsers available. Safari is also more secure and compliant with web standards. In constrast IE is one of the slowest browsers available, insecure, and is not at all compliant with web standards. Fails acid 3 epically

Hey I did this and when I did this all my MacBooks multi touch gestures stop working. The 4 finger swipe for Expose' the 2 finger swipe for navigating and all of them what happened? What did this have to do with all that, it was all working fine and after I did this and restated my MacBook they just stop working anyone one no how to fix this? Man i'm so mad.

 if u hold down alt and then ANY character.... it will make a new character..... holding down shift and alt at the same time does the same thing.... to make the  sign.... hold "shift" and then press "K"
