My hard work of 3 sleepless night to realize this perfection has paid off . This stanza of Gandhiji is missing in the actual song on a CD/Cassette . To realize the depth of the last verse I dedicated myself selflessly so that every Amdavadi feels proud of the great city & people .Other people have taken away my work and uploaded this song on their website, but still it being Amdavad I kept quiet .

As long as Amdavad is shared I dont mind the unethics . I was the first one to come up with this.

Born and grew up in Amdavad. spent 27 years of life in this city. Today it's almost 15 years since left Amdavad. Miss it immensly... Heart felt after seeing Roopali theater and Naginavadi. I believe there is no Roopali theater anymore. Salam Avinash bhai for composing and writing this song. And he knew very well that only Kishore da and his masti and yodelling could do justice to this song!

For those who have been away from Amdavad , this song refreshes the old memories and allows one to reminsce the old times .That time will never come back but memories keeps those times alive .Small things like the colour of the rickshaw , the old AMTS Buses had their beauty . Bus # 711 & 723 Ashok Leyland used to be 62/1 Lal Darwaja - Memnagar & Bus#520 TATA used to be 66/1 Kalupur - St.Xaviers High School .62/1 driver name was Abhe singh.

I was not even born when this movie relseased. Even I haven't seen that era of ahmedabad.

But whenver I see this song it gives me a goosebumps.

Today I am 9,362 km away from home.. But whenver I hear this song, it always draws a big smile but the same time a my eyes fill with tears...

Took me back. Am abroad now, but grew up in Amdavad. There are memories attached to each location in the song. Have been looking for this song. Thanks for uploading. Amdavaad has changed a lot, but still retains a certain earthiness. Cities are not streets and buildings. Cities are people and memories.
