Mr. Lane had real talent (multi-instrumentist and lyricist besides great singer)and charisma (check the live versions: makes you want to be there!). Will miss the origional Warrant unfortunately that was over a long time ago, I think he had a lot of pain comming to grips with the reality he was not 22 singing Heaven to thousands of girls every night, and tried to desperately keep that going. I saw the Fit Club season he was on and really was pulling for him to get sober. RIP Jani

I've been on a encyclopediac journey through 80's metal recently, and Warrant stands out as having 3 strong albums in a row (DRFSR, Cherry Pie, and Dog Eat Dog), and also because Jani's voice reaches a certain quality of goodness that I would qualify as "classic rock". I met Steven "Sweet" Chamberland in Colorado and I had told him that this album was classic. The problem is that CBS/Columbia wrote them off before it could have gone anywhere.

This album was heavier than their first two albums and it was a great album it seems that Warrant was trying to reach more males with this album but it was too late because the alternative generation was just beginning to blow up but no disrespect to the alternative nation because there were some great bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam to name a few and also no disrespect to the females who also love Warrant they are one of the greatest bands of that era.
