I feel lucky to have had many years at sea. I couldn't have had a better life. This video is sad because the ending shows the effect of global warming. A sad song seems to be fitting.
Whoever put the images to this piece of music/sacred text has no idea of its meaning; It's a Poem and Chant, part of Ester religious services called Stabat Mater - ( The Sorrowful Mother Stood ..... at the foot of the cross ). What have dolphins to do with the pain of a mother watching her son being crucified ? Lovely music and Lovely images. But the two together, just don't seem to fit.
@titanprometeus Um, really? I don't think there's a lot of video footage that goes with a mother watching her son being crucified. Or at least not that YouTube wouldn't ban for being excessively gory.
To honest I think there's a good analogy to be drawn - we as humans are effectively crucifying mother earth's planet with the impact of our lifestyles and overpopulation. But staying simple: beautiful music and beautiful images, that's the only thing they need to have in common to 'fit' together.
The voices are choral - likely Crouch End Festival. The style of music might be called fusion (a blend of old religious music combined with today rhythms). If you were too try and find it at a music station...best bet would be new age? Just buy his cd's. Worth every cent. Don't you think?
A visionairy will see what they envision. If not a visionairy, that which is presented to them will appeal to them. Therefore, there will be those who enjoy what they see and those who will be repelled by what they see. However, no one will disagree that the music is profound.
This is from Paul Schwartz' album "State of Grace 2". Not sure who the soloist is, but he often works with Lisbet Scott. (And I was NOT picturing dolphins, but that's okay. To each his own.)
if its made by god, allah, visnah, flying spagettimonster or by darwin himself, doesnt matter at all. it IS beautyfull, doesnt matter by who its created :)
lovely video!

My Lord and Saviour, could even quite the waves and calm the storms. He is my God
Lord and Saviour forever. If you are out there ask him to forgive your sin. Then you will
have eternal life forever. 1 John 5:11-13

One of my favorites! I used to put this on "repeat" and listen to it time and time again. I wasn't picturing dolphins, either, but for me it works.
