It's weird but when you Googlemap Cavendish Avenue and zoom in, you can only "walk" down half the street. As you approach #7 (Paul's address), you're immediately taken close to the end of the street. You can't use the "pedestrian view" feature for the whole street.
I used to live at the corner of Circus Rd & Grove End Rd. I kind a wish you'd gone straight at the 3-way cross walk (Abbey Rd merges there with Grove End Rd and turned left at the next light) instead of turning left and going the long way arround the block. It was still cool to see some of the streets I used to walk.
Every time we had friend visit they always wanted to see EMI (on Abbey Rd) & Pauls house.
Pauls house is the only house in the street with a street lamp in his front garden. Been there for years. I first saw it back in 1974. The house cost him ten thousand pounds back in 1966. Worth millions now.
i visited this house of sir pauls in june 08 we walked from the tube to abbey road studios then walked to pauls house. the gate opened and i almost had a coronary--was just a staff member
Paul doesn't really spend any time there to speak of..his Home is in Scotland, but he has owned this house on Cavendish Ave in London since the 60's. The address has been public knowledge for decades. I've visited it twice, much like these people. One time I went there was mail sticking in the mail slot in the gate door. I was tempted to take some as a "souvenier" but I didn't. A cousin of mine in London did the wiring for the intercom system by the front gate door, back in the 60's.
One of the few hey...lucky...my brother went there around '68 and actually had the pleasure to find him workin around the yard, and yakin to some girls..got me his autograph..wich like a dumbpoop, gave it away later on..what was I thinkin??? (Here's your sign)...he tried Johns house but only found Cynthia home, ratz
@susieschell George was hurt with a knife in his house, Olivia saved him. His body who had cancer has to fight to recover from the wounds too. God take care of Paulie and Ringo and keep them safe.
Some of the songs he wrote at that house include "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", "Penny Lane", "Let It Be", "Martha My Dear" and "Lovely Rita".
The 7 Cavendish Ave house is truly stunning and handily just up the road from Lords Cricket Ground. Hard to believe he's lived there for 40 odd yrs, but it must be worth near 18 million now (even without the historic/fame factor added in).
He drove the wrong way from the studios.

Paul and the rest of the Beatles had all encompassing fame. Just a house on a street in London, but, it is Paul's house.

Thanks for this excursion around some of the Beatle landmarks. Does anyone look after Paul's house while he is away.?

In view of what happened to John and George don't you think it's slightly stupid putting Paul's address on youtube?

@fab4art I agree with that. Take it off Joey

@fab4art Its a actually a well known fact where Paul's London home is located. He only uses it when hes in London he has multiple homes all over.

@fab4art George wasn't murdered like John. He died of cancer.
