Love the wide legs; I can tell you Maier cuts them like nobody else. They're comfortable, and have this amazing way of flowing in waves around your ankles when you walk. This is a beautiful image of masculinity; it's too bad the streets aren't dotted with more men who present themselves this way. A lovely, gentle, yet completely masculine collection.

There's a classic look about it- classic Italian. The tailoring is perfection, but you can live in these clothes. I also think the colors he choses are amazing.

I agree! The colours are so optimistic and celebratory. The only thing I can't reconcile myself to is the fit; these clothes (as is often the case with Italian brands) are ENORMOUS! You have to be at least 6 feet and about 165 lbs for these things to stay up. I really love the Germanic perspective in fashion. It's generally a bastion of quiet good taste and subtlety. The Germans have a wonderful understanding of colour - it's similar to Canadian preferences. Love the air of 50's masculinity!
