    Thx for your awesome insight and passion towards mexican food . Can you educate me on how the taquerias make refried beans from the scratch. I did buy dry pintos and made them in my home ...but couldnt replicate the flavour and taste of what I get in the mexican restarants . Can you please educate ? God bless u my friend !

  • @itellsri not exactly sure about their process, each restaurant does it a little different in tucson. I know some places use milk with the addition of cheeses and the cheeses are personal choices of the businesses. I've had friends show me their process and I've seen them made with hamhocks and onions, then they cook them down slowly for a few hours. I will see about posting a recipe soon.
