This video should be pulled from YouTube because it encourages other retarted people to things like this. Yeah, it's always a good idea to hang out near unshielded glass windows in a hurricane. Lucky they didn't break.

We did tape up some of the windows and our dad told us it was pointless. He was actually right. Not a single one of our untaped windows broke.

Very lucky! My dad planted bushes in front of the windows of our previous house in New Orleans to protect them from flying debris in hurricanes. The new owner ripped the bushes out. Guess what happened to those windows? Haha! The windows on his new house in N.O. blew out, not in, and these windows faced the wind and took the full force of the 120 mph winds of Katrina. You're kucky you don't live in Clermont Harbor.

However this IS one of the better videos because people are not saying George Bush "sent" the storm their or "blew up" the levies etc. Wait I forgot-I mean George supposedly "sent" the hurricane to just "single out" black people, thats the story any way thats why its good, none of that total nosense in it.

I remember my first "Oh cool a hurricane!" experience. Started out as "Oh cool" and ended as "Oh shit, I hope I don't die". I haven't seen the entire video of this, but I would wager that it is precisely the sort of thing that should be shown in every school in the Hurricane belt. Way, way too many people died in this storm because (no offense) they were just as stupid as these kids were and hung around when they should've got the hell out.

Being one of the "stupid kids" in the video I can see your point, and I don't think it would be bad if this video helped get more people to evacuate in the future. But we were more informed and prepared than this short trailer makes us seem. I'm going to make the longer piece available online in the next month.
