Hi thanks for the information, I recently put perm color in my hair for the first time, loved the color but not how my hair felt. Then about 2 months later put a home relaxer in my hair because I couldn't stand how it felt and also it no longer held a press or curls. Now my hair is falling out and I hate it. I have a decent grade of hair and it grows fairly fast so I am jsut patiently waiting for the perm/color to grow out. I will start using the whole line of product first for damage control.
The hair of people of African descent (which includes many Puerto Ricans) is versatile, beautiful and serves a purpose historically. It is unfortunate that so many people are ignorant of their own culture and how closely people of all ethnicities are linked to Africans. People of African descent are trendsetters with the way they wear their hair, whether straight or natural, and other cultures follow our trends... FYI- Puerto Rico is a place, not a race.
so true and thanks lady muaic lovee i love my locs they are so pretty and im finished cause fact is fact ita not good hair its just hair im glad i love the way GOD made me and im beautiful
@shantelltaylorful You are an idiot for loving your naps. You are delusional to think that "locks" are pretty. Did you know that dread locks are nothing but dead hair being twisted on top of dead hair? How is that pretty? It gets dirty and there is no real way to wash every strand of hair because it is all matted together in nappy bunches trapping dandruff and lice. You better get a reality check. Nothing is better than Puerto Rican curly hair like mine and my sons. They got my hair.
@TexasPuertoRock Uhmmmmm...sorry for interrupting...but RACE has nothing to do with TEXTURE!! TRAVEL? Well for one...try INDIA...then go to HAITI...then the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC...ohh and HAWAII...LORD have mercy TXTURE is TEXTURE...and no matte how YOU LIKE HAIR to look...or your WIFE>..it is totally YOUR CHOICE. My advice, on my PAGE is to leave it alone..and understand no MATTER how how like your TRESSES you have a CHOICE and do not let others OPINIONS change your CHOICE!!!
that was so backwards u encourage blacks to love their hair and wait what u do straighting it with prolly flat irons smh u shouldn't put natural in there u defeated the purpose
@shantelltaylorful Ignore kellykinz1000. Afro textured hair is beautiful. I think because in today's society afro-textured hair is seen as ugly . For example, you don't see much black celebrities with their natural hair this can lead people to believe in afro texture being ugly. Everything is about straight hair.
@ladymusiclover That's because afro-texture hair is ugly. It looks like a huge frizz ball or a natural rug atop of someones head. No one wants an afro. You don't see black women buying an afro weave. 90% of black people relax their hair of have in the past. Perm sales are at an all time high. My wife relax her hair and she look hella fine with it like that.
@TexasPuertoRock Your entitled to your opinion. I personally think their is nothing wrong with afro textured hair. Yes you are correct many black people relax or wear weaves. This could be due to our Eurocentric society, upbringing, not knowing how to manage hair that could be a possible reason to why people relax their hair. This goes way back to the slavery days. I don't think hair is ugly. Hair is hair. The purpose of hair is for adaptation not necessarily beauty.
@ladymusiclover Thank you for being the first person to not accuse me of being a racist. I know that I am not. My wife relaxes her hair and so does her friends. Also I know that I am right that black people are the only race with that type of hair.
@TexasPuertoRock; You had to just comment. Its so funny how this video is about not relaxing kids' hair and it turned into a racial thing. I used to think only South Africa was racised but I see we are not the only mad ones. Its interesting how in the States black people, regardless of them being mixed with white or Puerto RICAN, are still black?

@kellykinz1000 How am I racist? I am sating factual information and if that hurts you then you better wake up and stop living in a dream land. Black peoples natural hair is ugly and you all know it too or else you all wouldn't spend so much money trying to straighten it.
@ThePaperDollBoutique My fault ma. I'm not trying to sound racist because my wife is black and so are my two sons she blessed me with. They are 1/2 black 1/2 Puerto Rican. I'm just saying black people don't even like their natural hair. Why do they try so hard to have straight hair? I mean even you are guilty of it too. Look at your photo. That is either a weave, a wig, or a relaxer hair. So what I am saying does have some truth to it. Black ppl are the only ones w/ afros.
Its funny how everyone is arguing with that one guy. He saying he isnt racist but that was a racist and disreapectful comment. he married a black women and thinks it ok to disrespect her race. Carpet hair? Really? Now he is just being stupid. I hope his kids grow up to respect black people. Some white people hace very curly hair and we are the ones with messed up hair. I dont think so. All hair is beautiful if you know how to care for it. He is being ignorant. Im 14 and I understand this.
ignoring all the bullcrap comments below...u did a great job and I dont even like straightening my hair but i would love to try just to get that shine. amazing
@TexasPuertoRock why are you on here watching little girls? You said you have two boys. Do they need their hair straightend? I have Puerto Rican friends and they a BLACK!!!! Yes. You jackasses are black too. Get oout of women's business and enroll in a college course to learn about your history. Dumb ass.
@patkasper My boys don't need to straighten their hair they got loose curls. If they want it staright they could just blow dry it. I know that I have African in my blood which is why I'm confused why people are calling me a racist when I am not. Its not my fault that I was blessed with good hair while ya'll got wool hair or carpet hair.
@TexasPuertoRock you need to shut the fuck up cuz us BLACK PEOPLE do not have "carpet hair" it's called curls you stupid idiotic freak!!!!!! IT IS OFFENDING!!!!!!!! so next time leave household dumbass comments to your self!!!!!
@samsungcaptivate11 Oh I'm sorry if the truth hurts. You are offended. So what get thicker skin. The facts are the facts you black people are the only ones with that fucked up hair. If naps is your definition of curls than you must be insane or in denial. It looks like a carpet to me. Tell me something. Seeing that clearly my hair is not like that at all do you people get rug burns with that "afro"? Also anothe quetion is can you guys get static shock if you rub it then touch metal.
@TexasPuertoRock you need to shut the fuck up cuz us "black people" do not have "carpet hair" it's called curls u stupid idiotic racist freak!!!!!!! That "carpet hair is AFFENDINJ
I'm black and I have long curly hair. It doesn't look like a carpet whatsoever. I often get asked what I'm mixed with (Asian or Spanish) I'm part Chinese (1/8) and part white (1/8) so I'm really only 1/4 mixed the rest is black and I love My hair. It's long and beautiful. It's down to the middle of my back when straightened.
@musikismylyf123 But you see you just said that you are mixed so of course your hair isn't going to look like a carpet dumby. I'm talking about the 100% African decent people.
Why did I marry a black woman? Well because I love her that simple. She is my beautiful African Queen who gave me two beautiful boys. She made me a better man today then I ever was.
@TexasPuertoRock Lol & she's not your "African Queen" if you only love & accept her "tamed" side, for lack of better words. You hate every bit of her that makes her "African" or even ethnic for that matter. Most tribes people, or natives & their descendants HAVE curly hair but with the abundant use of products people seem to forget that! Saying "she knows better than to walk around with that mess" is rude on her behalf. She knows better than to be herself & accept herself O_o? Interesting...
@21SayWhat21 I do love my African Queen. I just don't like her naps. She knows that I don't like it and she already told me that she would do anything to make me happy and she should because I am her husband and that is the way it goes. What I says goes period. She doesn't have a choice but to do what I want her to do. I love her but I want her to be the way I want her to be. Just like she likes things about me and I do what makes her happy.
It truly amazes me how ignorant people are & how ridiculous their thinking is reading these comments!! Smh...when a white woman or any other race gets a tight S-Curl lets say for the club, prom, wedding, its okay & is often cute, sexy, or eye catchy, but if it's a black person & her hair is a natural S-Curl, it's considered messy or ugly? Just smh, I swear!!
Why even bother marrying a back woman if you're "afraid of her hair." You'd really divorce her if she accepts who she is & goes natural?
@21SayWhat21 How do I have lack of knowledge when I am married to a black woman. She has black friends I see what their hair looks like and what they go through. I'm around it all the time. So I must know what I am talking about. Whether you take care of it or not, whether it is soft or not it still looks like a carpet unless you perm it, dread it, braid it, shave it, wear false hair, or twist it. But in its natural state it looks like a carpet.
@TexasPuertoRock by picking I mean teasing! I don't need an afro pick, a regular person can achieve the same look as I do, w/ tons of gel & teasing so no you're sadly wrong! Look at vids on here plenty of black women who went natural don't have "carpet" hair. I even had white women tell me they wish their hair was as soft & wavy as mine. The only time its in a coil state is if a person has a 4 b/c curl pattern or its severely damaged from perms etc & the hair has to "reset" & loosen the curl.
@21SayWhat21 But see you need "tons of gel" in your own words. I don't need that. I got that good Puerto Rican hair. Its nice and curly. If I want to straighten it I just use the blow dryer and flat iron. I don't need that white cream like my wife does or you black people do.
@TexasPuertoRock Yeah I need tons of gel for the subject we were talking about, GETTING IT NAPPY OR into an AFRO and I said anyone can achieve the same results if they use tons of gel...if you can get those results without that crap lol then your hair is "nappier" than mine which proves black people aren't the only ones to have what you call "nappy, carpet hair!" So once again...quit with the racist ideology because you need more than that to have a structured argument. Smh you're ridiculous.
@21SayWhat21 First of all I am not a racist. My wife is black, my two sons are Half Black Half Puerto Rican. If you read my entire post you would have noticed that I said I don't need to use tons of gel. I have good Puerto Rican hair so do my sons. They have my hair and it doesn't get nappy or look as fucked up as that little girls hair in the video. We got that Good Puerto Rican hair. I said that my wife uses that white cream to make her hair like mine. She says it burns it straight.
@21SayWhat21 It is impossibe for me to have carpet hair like you because I have good Puerto Rican hair. If I use gel it just holds my hair not make it nappy like yours or that little girl in the video. I'm lucky to have my hair. Like I said before I feel sorry for ya'll becaause black people are the only one with that carpet hair. No other race has hair like that unless they are mixed with some sort of African decent. You guys have to use the white cream or false hair to make it look nice. SAD!
@TexasPuertoRock and "your wife needs the white cream", I truly feel terrible for the way you talk about her ethnic side like it's not good enough for you.....smh. Not love at all...
I'm done with this argument because clearly you're judgement is clouded by nothing but stereotypes and a SERIOUS lack of knowledge. But of course you'll probably try to get that last condescending word in about black people smh. Best wishes ^_^
@21SayWhat21 I do love my wife. The same thing I am telling you is the same thing I tell her. That carpet hair is ugly. No one wants it. Why do you think 95% of African American women in the United States and even some in the UK and Africa try so hard to straighten their hair or wear wigs and weaves? Even you people don't like it. Everyone knows that afros are ugly. Even black men have to braid it or dread it in order to look good. I love my wife's ethnicity just not her naps she knows better.
@TexasPuertoRock & if you would have read my post CLEARLY I said, me, as black NATURAL woman, my hair does NOT get nappy unless I apply gel on it to tease it out into an afro..EVEN A WHITE PERSON WITH GOOD HAIR CAN DO THIS WITH GEL & TEASING THE HAIR. So hush if you aren't going to take your own advice. And no I'll say about 80% of them perm their hair because they are afraid of what judgmental people like YOU might say to make them feel guilty for their image. You're so full of it! Goodbye now
@21SayWhat21 That is right people like me keep it real and that carpet afro is not attractive. They should perm their hair because it makes them look normal, My wife looks good with straight hair. When I put gel in my hair it doesn't get nappy or turn into a afro. I got that good Puerto Rican hair, The type of hair you black people wish you had that's why yall don't even rep that "afro" anymore. Especially black women wearing wigs, weaves, and perms trying to mask that ugly nappy curl.
@TexasPuertoRock You keep it real?? You're just keeping it ridiculous and borderline ignorant with your "you black people" rant...if you don't like it why even bother watching a video about black hair? Makes no sense....just like your argument....
@21SayWhat21 I never argued with anyone. I stated facts. You took it upon yourself to comment on my comment. So blame yourself. I'm not ignorant, again my wife is an African American. I tell her the same things and she doesn't really get mad until I start asking her questions why it takes so long for her hair to grow and why do black peoples hair look like that. They truly are the only race with thart carpet/sheeps fur look. Deny it all you want deep down you know that it is true.
@TexasPuertoRock I wasn't arguing lol you stated an ignorant comment and I let you know black people don't have carpet hair and even explained why some have tight, dry looking curls since your curiosity angers your wife. But you feel the need to spread your derogatory "you black people speech" and end it with derogatory comments so yep its ignorant and racist. Just because you have a connection with a black woman doesn't excuse ignorant or borderline racist comments...
@TexasPuertoRock & U feel the need to place yourself on a pedestal by saying "I got that good, you black people w/e" really? White people or other races feel they are more superior than others because of skin color. Trying to make someone feel less than because of certain features or qualities is discrimination & confining it specifically to a race is well what do you know racism. Slave masters who thought blacks were inferior still had sex & kids with black women if you want to get technical.
@21SayWhat21 I don't feel superior I just feel proud. Proud that I don't have to go through the things you black people have to go through with ya'll hair. I like black people my wife is black, my two sons are half black half Puerto Rican, and some of my home boys is black too. What I am sayin is factual information you black people are the only race with that "Afro" style of hair. Everyone else has normal hair while ya'll got sheeps fur/carpet hair. Am I wrong? Becxause I know I am not.
Your an idiot...your wrong and why did a black woman marry you? What the hell was she thinking? Afro hair is normal for us , it's what nature or GOD ( what ever believe in) has given us. Maybe your wife doesn't know how to style her hair b/c my hair is NOT carpet hair, it's soft and has a cotton-like feel to it. By leaving the comment you do not respect black people regardless of how many black friends you supposly have. Your wife should divore you.
@dayjohn123 My wife married me because I'm a fly motherfucker shit I wish I could marry myself I look that good. Also I got money and I treat my lady right even though she tells me sometimes that I am an asshole. I'm arrogant what can I say? That's just me and she has to live with it. But in any event I love her though. She iss my African Queen.
@TexasPuertoRock I wasn't arguing with anyone either, just stating facts like you but since you THINK I am....clearly you can't argue with a fool and I'm not going to any longer. Continue to leave your comments, I know you're going to want to get that last word in to inform the world about "black hair" smh and I'll ignore the temptation to correct an idiot lol. I'll just let you be one instead =].
@21SayWhat21 Of course I am tempting black women can't help but want to talk to my fine ass. What can I say but I am blessed with good looks and a swagger that is hard to deny. But I also know that I am right and you are just trying to rationalize everything to make it sound like what you are talking about when you know that you don't and you are the one that sounds like a fool. You black people know that your hair is fucked up thats why ya'll spend so much money trying to starighten it.
@21SayWhat21 I am keeping it real. I watch the video because I find it funny how you black people go through so much hell to get your hair straight when at the end of the day it really isn't exactly the way ya'll wanted it. Ya'll be spending mad money on straightening creams, weaves, wigs, salons, and treatment just to get it straight. Even the black men straighten their hair, braid it , or dread it. They too now even began wearing weave. Black babies are bald and wear weave. Wow is it that bad?
@michaeljacksonlov14 Well as my wife tells me all the time I am an asshole. I know that I am. That is just me. And I am stating facts and that is why you are mad. You black people hate your natural hair and you people are the only race with that fucked up hair. Everyone else White, Indian, Asian, Hispanic all have normal nice looking hair whether its curly, wavy, or straight. While black people have a boring weird, nappy, sheeps fur or carpet growing on their head. Even the babies wear weave SAD
@TexasPuertoRock You are brainwashed I think our hair is B-E-A utiful and I dont need wierd mean guys like you telling me any different. Our hair is amazing we can do anything with it. We can wear an afro wear it straight or curly. It depends on what we want to do. Us as black girls can do any thing we want to do with the right products. Ummm i got a question why are you with a black women anyway if you dont like our hair????
@michaeljacksonlov14 I'm with a black woman because I love who she is as a person and she does whatever I tell her to do. She is smart and very pretty. She straightens her hair so i don't have to worry about my woman having a carpet on her head. She has also blessed me with two beautiful boys that was blessed with my good Puerto Rican Hair.
Lol ignorant much?? There's plenty of white people with "nappy or F*cked up hair"..plenty of other races as well..in fact there are black people with naturally straight and semi straight hair. LACK OF KNOWLEDGE and lack of patience is the result of "fucked up hair".....and you clearly show your lack of knowledge by leaving such a ridiculous comment on a video about this person's CHILDREN!!! Smh...
@21SayWhat21 Not ignorant because my wife is black. Its just true black people have nappy, stiff, ugly hair that doesn't even move or get wet. All the other races don't have anything close to black peoples hair. You must be mistaken their "naps" with getting tangled. There is a huge difference.
@TexasPuertoRock As far as I know, Im fully Black, and My hair shines, moves even without wind, and it is very Long..Partly Because I take care of my hair.I wear alot of weaves to keep it from being damaged by the sun and other elements, but everyone in my family has beautiful hair..How could you make a statement about a whole race of people when you haven't even met 1/8 of the race??
@trillbytch93 Ok and I as I have said before I have a African American wife ok. She has African American friends. I see the hair everyday. So I have some knowledge of what I am talking about. I don't need to know the whole race because black peoples hair pretty much grows the same a nappy spiral that looks like a carpet when bunched togther feeling like sheeps fur.
You can still be married to a race & have racist ideals & thinking. Being married to a particular race doesn't excuse ignorant thinking; if you MAKE your wife get perms you really don't love her for who she is "for better or worse" so um w/e -_-. I'm BLACK w/ natural hair, my hair gets wet just fine & doesn't reject water, & its NEVER poofy unless I apply tons of gel & pick it out. So making a stereotypical, slanted judgment towards ANY race is IGNORANT to the 10th power...
Also if she keeps perming her hair and you never give her hair a chance to breathe it WILL eventually get damaged to the point her hair will break, thin, and she can even have premature balding, especially as she gets older soooooo it doesn't make sense you'd force her to get perms rather than rock her own hair naturally straight with blowouts etc. Your statements are truly ignorant, tasteless, and uncalled for...truly Willie Lynch Syndrome at its finest. Smh...
@21SayWhat21 Actually as I have said before black people are the only race with that carpet style hair. No other race has it unless they have some kind of African mix. You are mistaking tangled hair for nappy hair. Like mines it gets tangled and that is far from anything you black people go through trying to pick it out. I don't need an afro pick I could use a comb and do just fine.
@MSMIKKO100 How am I being racist. I have a black wife and I love her to death. I just don't like her natural hair. What's wrong with that? She's my wife she does whatever makes me happy and I love that. No racism. I just feel like black people have wierd hair and what I am saying is true they are the only race on earth with that weird hair. I'm Puerto Rican I don't have that problem. My wife and her friends say the same thing. That's why they straighten it and wear weave.
@TexasPuertoRock I think most African American women wouldn't relax there hair if they didn't receive so much criticism for how it looks naturally. I don't care how peoples hair looks, as long as it's clean and soft.
@MorbidlyObese1 All I care about is my wife's hair and she keeps it straight for me so I'm happy. What other black women do is on them. As long as my wife keeps her hair relaxed we're good. She knows that I think that Afro look is ugly and weird. I'm not racist as some people think I am. I love my African Queen. But she needs to keep that hair straight for me.
@TexasPuertoRock So if your wife didn't keep her hair straight you would no longer feel the same about her? I'm not going to call you a racist because I clearly don't know you, but based off your tasteless comments here (which is a video of someone children for God's sake) you really should re-think some things. You say you love you"African Queen" but you detest the very characteristics that make her of african decent, i.e. her hair texture. Wow I feel sorry for this woman.
@keena20071987 Off course I love my wife and lover her African features except that carpet on her head. She straightens her hair for me because sh knows that I like it that way, She likes the way she looks too. I just told her straight up that my woman won't be walking around with a carpet on her head. She told me she would do whatever makes me happy so she keeps her hai straight. What's wrong with tha? She does what I want to make me happy and I do whatever she wants to make her happy.
@sarafranco100 African American's have numerous hair textures. You can be "full black" and have really curly hair like that.. Even though no one is truly full black because everyone is mixed a little some where. But, there are people with both African American parents, grandparents and so on who have textures like that. Also, shine comes from hair being healthy not what race you are..
@squirrelsinmykoolaid your wrong american black people dont count because every single black person in the USA has traces of white blood becase back during the slave trade when they were stolen from africa by slave masters the masters were also pedophiles and perverts and they would rape the female slaves and thats how they began to mix so you saying black have diiferent textures of hair simply isnt true because ive been to africa and ghana where pure blacks are and their hair is thick and afro
@squirrelsinmykoolaid ur wrong american black people dont count because every single black person in the USA has traces of white blood becase back during the slave trade when they were stolen from africa by slave masters the masters were also pedophiles and perverts and they would rape the female slaves and thats how they began to mix so you saying black have diiferent textures of hair simply isnt true because ive been to africa and ghana where pure blacks are and their hair is thick and afro
@sarafranco100 Didn't I just say that every black doesn't have to be full black!? Also, certain black hair textures can become an afro if you pick it out, but when it's wet you can see it in it's "true form" if I put it that way.. Also, every American Black person isn't all the way American. Have you ever thought about the naturalized citizens and such or the people who came over here.. Not saying you're wrong but from my point of view, blacks have various hair types. Not just an afro..
@squirrelsinmykoolaid im only speaking from personal experience if you go to africa ghana and places where their are pure black people in their original state their hair is very thick and afro like and i think its beautiful especially how their skin is so dark and flawless i envy that so im disgusted that someone would try to say their is the same average thinner straight euro/white/italain curly hair when its not its totally different its only curly like that when blacks are mixed
@MSMIKKO100 Thank you so much for this video! I'm so tired of people thinking that black people only have one type of texture (generally the tightly coiled hair).. UGH! It's so annoying.. It's like educate yourselves people on the variety of hair black people have!!
Good hair is whatever kind of hair YOU like. Everybody wants what they don't have and black people just make it a bigger deal than it is. I'm black & I have a RELAXER ! I both embrace my curly & stright haired side. But, you do have a great point that nobody should be ASHAMED of their real hair! :)
I got friggin blind at 1:19! You shoulda had a warning notice. (Then when I looked at the comments, I realized I wasn't the only one blinded by the shine lol)
thats what im talking about... Beautiful! Where are you located? I have been natural for a little over 2 years and I have not straightened my hair yet. I want to make sure I go to someone who knows what they are doing. I had a friend go to a salon and the stylist burnt her hair.
@blahblahblahman Nice sentiment but unless you have combed tangled hair on tender headed kids well. I think your sweet, but hair is an accessory, if it is taken care of properly it can be put into multiple diverse styles. There are tons of ways to braid, puff, twist, fold, and curl it. Little girls want to be able to play in the dirt and dress like a princess.. this lady is just showing them that they don't have to tear up their hair to be diverse. Enjoy your hair because YOU are able to do more
Please help me ........my daughter has black hair mine is more like white hair I've spent soo much money on products for her that don't seem to moisturize very well, i want to keep her hair natural, please tell me what you use in your daughter's hair, and what was in it when it was so curly ........HELP??
Why do people like such high shine?? It is EXTREMELY unnatural... I would be afraid to touch that hair and see pounds of grease stuck on my hand. Those were beautiful hair styles, but I would have liked to see more of a natural touch, instead of what looks like hundred of products piled on.
Loved the video, i have not had a relaxer in 5 months and i was thinking about going natural, this video changed my mind completely, im definitly going natural now.
Who Whoa Hold UP!!!!!! PLEASE upload a video of your process!! lol That shine is out of this world lol! And her hair texture is just like mine too!!! :D
Well, I can't be a customer because I probably don't live in the same state. Would you mind sharing what you used on her hair to get so well pressed and shiny; more importantly because I can straighten my hair, is do you have advice to keep it staying in humid New England weather? I would really appreciate some feed back. Thanks
@j2cool2 to keep hair straight in very humid weather, try using some anti humidy products before straightening. - or try CHI silk infusion right before you straighten, it works very well
@msChae91 Thanks msChae91. I will try the CHI silk infusion. I have tried a lot of the anti-humidity products and none of them work (serums before straighten and after, spray after styling and even one used before blow drying). Pressing oils work but I am trying to avoid using it any more since it is not good for my hair. I had a pressing cream that work great that I can't find it. I think it was taken out of production. :( Thanks for the recommendations.
Wow, that's beautiful. As a young girl I was introduced to relaxers by a hair stylist who convinced my mom to relax my hair. i'm 28 now it's and it's so hard to turn back. My sister on the other hand never chemically treated her hair and I must admit she has beautiful healthy hair and scalp. It really long too. please let it be know, natural hair is good hair. It doesn't have to be relaxed to look this good. btw what product are you using in there hair. share the secret. lol... we want to know
OMG Her hair looks beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!! but what did you do before you straightend it? i didn't really undertand and i want my hair to look like that
On some real shit... if you sell this to african american women all around the world, your gonna make millions. it seems that you have found a technique that works and that does not requirea chemical.. Think about it girlfriend....millions! and black women will LOVE you!
Im confused because I have a relaxer but I try to stretch it 8-12 weeks it increases but this lady comes by and eeeew weeee you got some good hair my aunt said thats a perm the lady said she still got some good hair what is that?!
Why is everyone so crazy over the shine? And just because someone is relaxed, they have bad hair or something? I'm relaxed, and my hair looks the same exact way...Anything can damage hair if you don't know what you are doing anyway...I'm sorry, but MANY LICENSED COSMETOLOGISTS are the ones damaging the clients hair in the first place. Taking shortcuts just to get the money quick and get another person in their chair and not give them the quality services they should be offered to begin with!
them briads looked mad tight

@shantelltaylorful That's because she knows that black peoples hair is not nice.
TexasPuertoRock 3 months ago
@shantelltaylorful Ignore kellykinz1000. Afro textured hair is beautiful. I think because in today's society afro-textured hair is seen as ugly . For example, you don't see much black celebrities with their natural hair this can lead people to believe in afro texture being ugly. Everything is about straight hair.
ladymusiclover 3 months ago
@ladymusiclover I mean ignore TexasPuertoRock.
ladymusiclover 3 months ago
@ladymusiclover That's because afro-texture hair is ugly. It looks like a huge frizz ball or a natural rug atop of someones head. No one wants an afro. You don't see black women buying an afro weave. 90% of black people relax their hair of have in the past. Perm sales are at an all time high. My wife relax her hair and she look hella fine with it like that.
TexasPuertoRock 3 months ago
@TexasPuertoRock Your entitled to your opinion. I personally think their is nothing wrong with afro textured hair. Yes you are correct many black people relax or wear weaves. This could be due to our Eurocentric society, upbringing, not knowing how to manage hair that could be a possible reason to why people relax their hair. This goes way back to the slavery days. I don't think hair is ugly. Hair is hair. The purpose of hair is for adaptation not necessarily beauty.
ladymusiclover 3 months ago
@ladymusiclover Thank you for being the first person to not accuse me of being a racist. I know that I am not. My wife relaxes her hair and so does her friends. Also I know that I am right that black people are the only race with that type of hair.

@kellykinz1000 How am I racist? I am sating factual information and if that hurts you then you better wake up and stop living in a dream land. Black peoples natural hair is ugly and you all know it too or else you all wouldn't spend so much money trying to straighten it.

@TexasPuertoRock wow you really are being racist black people hair is just as beautiful as white people hair.
ThePaperDollBoutique 3 months ago
@ThePaperDollBoutique My fault ma. I'm not trying to sound racist because my wife is black and so are my two sons she blessed me with. They are 1/2 black 1/2 Puerto Rican. I'm just saying black people don't even like their natural hair. Why do they try so hard to have straight hair? I mean even you are guilty of it too. Look at your photo. That is either a weave, a wig, or a relaxer hair. So what I am saying does have some truth to it. Black ppl are the only ones w/ afros.

It's down to the middle of my back when straightened.
musikismylyf123 4 months ago
@musikismylyf123 But you see you just said that you are mixed so of course your hair isn't going to look like a carpet dumby. I'm talking about the 100% African decent people.
TexasPuertoRock 4 months ago
Why did I marry a black woman? Well because I love her that simple. She is my beautiful African Queen who gave me two beautiful boys. She made me a better man today then I ever was.
TexasPuertoRock 4 months ago
@TexasPuertoRock Lol & she's not your "African Queen" if you only love & accept her "tamed" side, for lack of better words. You hate every bit of her that makes her "African" or even ethnic for that matter. Most tribes people, or natives & their descendants HAVE curly hair but with the abundant use of products people seem to forget that! Saying "she knows better than to walk around with that mess" is rude on her behalf. She knows better than to be herself & accept herself O_o? Interesting...
21SayWhat21 4 months ago
@21SayWhat21 I do love my African Queen. I just don't like her naps. She knows that I don't like it and she already told me that she would do anything to make me happy and she should because I am her husband and that is the way it goes. What I says goes period. She doesn't have a choice but to do what I want her to do. I love her but I want her to be the way I want her to be. Just like she likes things about me and I do what makes her happy.
TexasPuertoRock 4 months ago
It truly amazes me how ignorant people are & how ridiculous their thinking is reading these comments!! Smh...when a white woman or any other race gets a tight S-Curl lets say for the club, prom, wedding, its okay & is often cute, sexy, or eye catchy, but if it's a black person & her hair is a natural S-Curl, it's considered messy or ugly? Just smh, I swear!!
Why even bother marrying a back woman if you're "afraid of her hair." You'd really divorce her if she accepts who she is & goes natural?
21SayWhat21 4 months ago
@21SayWhat21 How do I have lack of knowledge when I am married to a black woman. She has black friends I see what their hair looks like and what they go through. I'm around it all the time. So I must know what I am talking about. Whether you take care of it or not, whether it is soft or not it still looks like a carpet unless you perm it, dread it, braid it, shave it, wear false hair, or twist it. But in its natural state it looks like a carpet.
TexasPuertoRock 4 months ago
@TexasPuertoRock by picking I mean teasing! I don't need an afro pick, a regular person can achieve the same look as I do, w/ tons of gel & teasing so no you're sadly wrong! Look at vids on here plenty of black women who went natural don't have "carpet" hair. I even had white women tell me they wish their hair was as soft & wavy as mine. The only time its in a coil state is if a person has a 4 b/c curl pattern or its severely damaged from perms etc & the hair has to "reset" & loosen the curl.
21SayWhat21 4 months ago
@21SayWhat21 But see you need "tons of gel" in your own words. I don't need that. I got that good Puerto Rican hair. Its nice and curly. If I want to straighten it I just use the blow dryer and flat iron. I don't need that white cream like my wife does or you black people do.
TexasPuertoRock 4 months ago
@TexasPuertoRock Yeah I need tons of gel for the subject we were talking about, GETTING IT NAPPY OR into an AFRO and I said anyone can achieve the same results if they use tons of gel...if you can get those results without that crap lol then your hair is "nappier" than mine which proves black people aren't the only ones to have what you call "nappy, carpet hair!" So once again...quit with the racist ideology because you need more than that to have a structured argument. Smh you're ridiculous.
21SayWhat21 4 months ago
@21SayWhat21 First of all I am not a racist. My wife is black, my two sons are Half Black Half Puerto Rican. If you read my entire post you would have noticed that I said I don't need to use tons of gel. I have good Puerto Rican hair so do my sons. They have my hair and it doesn't get nappy or look as fucked up as that little girls hair in the video. We got that Good Puerto Rican hair. I said that my wife uses that white cream to make her hair like mine. She says it burns it straight.
TexasPuertoRock 4 months ago
@21SayWhat21 It is impossibe for me to have carpet hair like you because I have good Puerto Rican hair. If I use gel it just holds my hair not make it nappy like yours or that little girl in the video. I'm lucky to have my hair. Like I said before I feel sorry for ya'll becaause black people are the only one with that carpet hair. No other race has hair like that unless they are mixed with some sort of African decent. You guys have to use the white cream or false hair to make it look nice. SAD!
TexasPuertoRock 4 months ago
@TexasPuertoRock and "your wife needs the white cream", I truly feel terrible for the way you talk about her ethnic side like it's not good enough for you.....smh. Not love at all...
I'm done with this argument because clearly you're judgement is clouded by nothing but stereotypes and a SERIOUS lack of knowledge. But of course you'll probably try to get that last condescending word in about black people smh. Best wishes ^_^
21SayWhat21 4 months ago
@21SayWhat21 I do love my wife. The same thing I am telling you is the same thing I tell her. That carpet hair is ugly. No one wants it. Why do you think 95% of African American women in the United States and even some in the UK and Africa try so hard to straighten their hair or wear wigs and weaves? Even you people don't like it. Everyone knows that afros are ugly. Even black men have to braid it or dread it in order to look good. I love my wife's ethnicity just not her naps she knows better.
TexasPuertoRock 4 months ago
@TexasPuertoRock & if you would have read my post CLEARLY I said, me, as black NATURAL woman, my hair does NOT get nappy unless I apply gel on it to tease it out into an afro..EVEN A WHITE PERSON WITH GOOD HAIR CAN DO THIS WITH GEL & TEASING THE HAIR. So hush if you aren't going to take your own advice. And no I'll say about 80% of them perm their hair because they are afraid of what judgmental people like YOU might say to make them feel guilty for their image. You're so full of it! Goodbye now
21SayWhat21 4 months ago
@21SayWhat21 That is right people like me keep it real and that carpet afro is not attractive. They should perm their hair because it makes them look normal, My wife looks good with straight hair. When I put gel in my hair it doesn't get nappy or turn into a afro. I got that good Puerto Rican hair, The type of hair you black people wish you had that's why yall don't even rep that "afro" anymore. Especially black women wearing wigs, weaves, and perms trying to mask that ugly nappy curl.
TexasPuertoRock 4 months ago
@TexasPuertoRock You keep it real?? You're just keeping it ridiculous and borderline ignorant with your "you black people" rant...if you don't like it why even bother watching a video about black hair? Makes no sense....just like your argument....
21SayWhat21 4 months ago
@21SayWhat21 I never argued with anyone. I stated facts. You took it upon yourself to comment on my comment. So blame yourself. I'm not ignorant, again my wife is an African American. I tell her the same things and she doesn't really get mad until I start asking her questions why it takes so long for her hair to grow and why do black peoples hair look like that. They truly are the only race with thart carpet/sheeps fur look. Deny it all you want deep down you know that it is true.
TexasPuertoRock 4 months ago
@TexasPuertoRock I wasn't arguing lol you stated an ignorant comment and I let you know black people don't have carpet hair and even explained why some have tight, dry looking curls since your curiosity angers your wife.
21SayWhat21 4 months ago
@21SayWhat21 I don't feel superior I just feel proud. Proud that I don't have to go through the things you black people have to go through with ya'll hair. I like black people my wife is black, my two sons are half black half Puerto Rican, and some of my home boys is black too.

@21SayWhat21 Of course I am tempting black women can't help but want to talk to my fine ass. What can I say but I am blessed with good looks and a swagger that is hard to deny. You black people know that your hair is fucked up thats why ya'll spend so much money trying to starighten it.
TexasPuertoRock 4 months ago

TexasPuertoRock 4 months ago
@TexasPuertoRock You are brainwashed I think our hair is B-E-A utiful and I dont need wierd mean guys like you telling me any different. Our hair is amazing we can do anything with it. Smh...
21SayWhat21 4 months ago
@21SayWhat21 Not ignorant because my wife is black. Its just true black people have nappy, stiff, ugly hair that doesn't even move or get wet. All the other races don't have anything close to black peoples hair. You must be mistaken their "naps" with getting tangled. There is a huge difference.
TexasPuertoRock 4 months ago
@TexasPuertoRock As far as I know, Im fully Black, and My hair shines, moves even without wind, and it is very Long..Partly Because I take care of my hair.I wear alot of weaves to keep it from being damaged by the sun and other elements, but everyone in my family has beautiful hair..How could you make a statement about a whole race of people when you haven't even met 1/8 of the race??
trillbytch93 4 months ago
@trillbytch93 Ok and I as I have said before I have a African American wife ok. She has African American friends. I see the hair everyday. So I have some knowledge of what I am talking about. I don't need to know the whole race because black peoples hair pretty much grows the same a nappy spiral that looks like a carpet when bunched togther feeling like sheeps fur.
TexasPuertoRock 4 months ago
@TexasPuertoRock
21SayWhat21 4 months ago
@TexasPuertoRock
Smh...
21SayWhat21 4 months ago

TexasPuertoRock 4 months ago
@TexasPuertoRock I think most African American women wouldn't relax there hair if they didn't receive so much criticism for how it looks naturally. I don't care how peoples hair looks, as long as it's clean and soft.
MorbidlyObese1 4 months ago in playlist More videos from MSMIKKO100
@MorbidlyObese1 All I care about is my wife's hair and she keeps it straight for me so I'm happy. What other black women do is on them. As long as my wife keeps her hair relaxed we're good. She knows that I think that Afro look is ugly and weird. I'm not racist as some people think I am. I love my African Queen. But she needs to keep that hair straight for me.
TexasPuertoRock 4 months ago
@TexasPuertoRock So if your wife didn't keep her hair straight you would no longer feel the same about her? I'm not going to call you a racist because I clearly don't know you, but based off your tasteless comments here (which is a video of someone children for God's sake) you really should re-think some things. You say you love you"African Queen" but you detest the very characteristics that make her of african decent, i.e. her hair texture. Wow I feel sorry for this woman.
keena20071987 4 months ago 3
@keena20071987 Off course I love my wife and lover her African features except that carpet on her head. She straightens her hair for me because sh knows that I like it that way, She likes the way she looks too. I just told her straight up that my woman won't be walking around with a carpet on her head. She told me she would do whatever makes me happy so she keeps her hai straight. What's wrong with tha? She does what I want to make me happy and I do whatever she wants to make her happy.

sarafranco100 5 months ago

Not just an afro..
squirrelsinmykoolaid 5 months ago
@squirrelsinmykoolaid im only speaking from personal experience if you go to africa ghana and places where their are pure black people in their original state their hair is very thick and afro like and i think its beautiful especially how their skin is so dark and flawless i envy that so im disgusted that someone would try to say their is the same average thinner straight euro/white/italain curly hair when its not its totally different its only curly like that when blacks are mixed
sarafranco100 5 months ago
@sarafranco100 ... I never said anything about thinness -_-" Never mind, this whole conversation was pointless...

@MSMIKKO100 Thank you so much for this video! I'm so tired of people thinking that black people only have one type of texture (generally the tightly coiled hair).. UGH! It's so annoying.. It's like educate yourselves people on the variety of hair black people have!!
mimi504 4 months ago
@sarafranco100
My mother has the same texture. She is NOT mixed either. Black people have varying textures.

I don't think little black girls need straight hair. Just sayin'.
blahblahblahman 7 months ago
@blahblahblahman Nice sentiment but unless you have combed tangled hair on tender headed kids well. I think your sweet, but hair is an accessory, if it is taken care of properly it can be put into multiple diverse styles. There are tons of ways to braid, puff, twist, fold, and curl it. Little girls want to be able to play in the dirt and dress like a princess.. this lady is just showing them that they don't have to tear up their hair to be diverse. Enjoy your hair because YOU are able to do more

Wow talk about shine!
TokyoGeisha21 8 months ago
Why do people like such high shine?? It is EXTREMELY unnatural... I would be afraid to touch that hair and see pounds of grease stuck on my hand. Those were beautiful hair styles, but I would have liked to see more of a natural touch, instead of what looks like hundred of products piled on.

Well, I can't be a customer because I probably don't live in the same state. Would you mind sharing what you used on her hair to get so well pressed and shiny; more importantly because I can straighten my hair, is do you have advice to keep it staying in humid New England weather? I would really appreciate some feed back. Thanks
j2cool2 9 months ago
@j2cool2 to keep hair straight in very humid weather, try using some anti humidy products before straightening. - or try CHI silk infusion right before you straighten, it works very well
msChae91 9 months ago

Im confused because I have a relaxer but I try to stretch it 8-12 weeks it increases but this lady comes by and eeeew weeee you got some good hair my aunt said thats a perm the lady said she still got some good hair what is that?!
NIJEECAPRICORN20 11 months ago
Why is everyone so crazy over the shine? And just because someone is relaxed, they have bad hair or something? I'm relaxed, and my hair looks the same exact way...Anything can damage hair if you don't know what you are doing anyway...I'm sorry, but MANY LICENSED COSMETOLOGISTS are the ones damaging the clients hair in the first place. Taking shortcuts just to get the money quick and get another person in their chair and not give them the quality services they should be offered to begin with!
