the branches actually move up because they naturally reach for the sun when it comes out...

sort of like a flower opening up in the morning? same thing. the branches warm up and stretch upwards in the direction of the sun to absorb as much sunlight as possible--it has nothing to do with the weight of the snow.

Great! Two things I never saw like that: snow growing and branches liftung up again when they loose the weight of snow.
