This one was up there with Generations. Great acting, Great story behind it with the virus. And a very cool look which lends to the desperation and pain felt by the protagonist. Well done
It was great. one of the best short films ive ever seen on youtube. but it doesnt directly connect with AC. you can just assume Abstergo was supplying him.
Wow. Definitely one of, if not THE best AC films I've seen. You could really feel his desperation coming across and it never felt cheesy or fake as so many other ones did. Massive kudos to the makers of this.:D
@HazzardousEco Well, no, I think a lot of us wouldn't... If we were 100% sure that the targets deserved to die then, yes, I'd do it without hesitation. But these are not generally the targets given to modern day assassins/hitmen. Almost by definition, their targets are those who don't deserve it. A man no longer cares for his wife, but for another woman, and doesn't want to go through with divorce, so he pays to have his wife killed.
What makes my life worth more than the many I need to take?
@viking4211 Well, firstly, this would be suicide by inaction (if even classified as suicide). And, sure, murder may be easier than suicide by inaction... for a coward.
@777static777 survival is built into our brains, humans wouldn't have evolved as far as we have if we didn't feel the need to make our own lives the most importants thing. but there are many cases where we may sacrifice ourselves for someone we care about, but this sort of comes from us wanting the survival of our bloodline.
but obviously there are passifists who would bever take a life, but i assuf them, until his concience gets the better of him.
@viking4211 You have a point, quoting evolutionary theory. However, altruistic behaviour is ALSO programmed into us as it promotes the survival of our species. Such impulses are extremely strong, especially in communal animals, which depend on "strength in numbers" to survive (eg humans).
Not only that, but we've evolved to the point that we're not bound by the constraints of biology (homosexuals and suicide is proof of this). To fall back on "evolution" as an excuse to save ur ass is cowardly.
@777static777 I do agree, that as a species we are also compelled to help others, as the survival as a species as a whole is also hardwired into our brain.
i too agree that, culture has replaced alot of primal human traits, but culture came from human nature to begin with.
so ill just say that all people our diferent, some may respect human life enough to let themselves die slowly, probably painfully, whilst some may see it as they feel that their own lives are more important to them than others
@viking4211 Here I agree with you. However, in the case of those who see their own life as more valuable than the lives of (a number of) other innocent people, I call these people cowards (...put nicely). That being said, if it were my life in exchange for the life of rapists, child molesters, cold-blooded murderers, etc. then I would gladly make the trade.
@777static777 well, some people kill for money, or for ideals, or even for their country, so why is it so strange that someone would kill for whats most important to them, their life.
@viking4211 I never said it was strange, but those who kill innocents to save their own hide ARE cowardly - those who kill for money are greedy cowards.
Ahh, now that makes it difficult... in that situation logic would say that if it's one person I had to kill, then yes; if more than one, no. In practice though, I'm human... and couldn't say how many people I'd kill to keep someone I love safe. That one's got me stumped.
I like the story man... A common sense for a living organism, do anything to survive.. Indeed, Nothing is true, everything is permitted.

I like his view that he's not an evil person, but a person wanting to survive...if we were in his position, would we not do the same?

but think about this, if instead of killing to save yourself. You had to kill in order to save someone you love, would you do it then?
