  • I'm happy everything worked out for you. I also had a kidney transplant and was on dialysis for 2 years before and went through the peritonitus thing too. However I owe my thanks to my son the donor, medical science and the doctors, nurses and care workers. Not once did I pray to a make belief diety, even when I almost died on 2 occasions. I only give credit where it is due. All the best with the new kidney.

This is the best part of our job. Thanks for letting us be a part of your dream come true. No more care plans and worrying about your labs...stay safe...enjoy the rest of your life

  • Chris, glad i could be part of the bridge that got you to transplant. You are living the dream we have for all our patient's. Take your meds, live a long and wonderful life my friend, although our paths crossed once, you have many things to do. Memory of us will fade. but know we all rejoice with you, in your new life. Now don't make me wake you up to sign another fire drill form. You brought a tear to a crusty old dialysis nurse.

  • That was wonderful! I am so glad everything went as well as it did. You and Matt are amazing people. Stay strong. I wish you all the best and i am glad Mikayla has her daddy back too!! Love you all

  • Chris,

I am so glad that everything worked out for you and your family. I don't know how you guys were able to stay so positive throughout everything but in the end everybody is happy and healthy. I remember that you said to me, "no matter what happens in life, what matters is that you and your family are happy and healthy." I'm glad that your advice came true for you and your family.
