What do u feed them when they get older? We have 4 that r 4 weeks old and I want to give them as much a variety of food as possible, and cheap food at that
Ducks can handle temperatures in Wisc. once they have their adult, waterproof feathers, but even in Wisc. babies like this would need to be warm. These are some cuties and I agree with everyone that your narrations are fun, sweet, and you have a great voice. And you obviously love your kids. Who are these little guys?
o.o are you a narrator? wow you sound really good! your voice fits perfectly for anything that involves animals nature..you know something like that^^it's a good shot and great video!
@mclarke1125 reminds me of this one time in high school when i was working at my job it was summer about 105 or something around there and this family from Maine had there AC on full blast and asked me "how do you live in this heat" I kind of laughed and just said used to it. Most northern people can't take southern heat, like most southerners can't take the cold.
They're so cute. When I was a child I had a pet Pekin duck. I named her Nellie because she was white like vanilla chocolate. I also had a Rhode Island Red hen named Peep, and they became the best of friends. Peep would always try to keep up with Nellie during her nightly tours around the perimeter of the house looking for bugs. That poor chicken would stumble into plants and yard stuff because she was so blind in the dark, but she refused to leave that duck's side for any reason!
65? in Indiana thats wut we call SUMMER & SHORTS & SLEEVELESS T-SHIRT WEATHER...ya'll are woosys....hell 55 is outside work weather after winter...wow
Awww so cute. I love ducks and would love to have one but we've been known to get foxes around and also rats too. I've also heard that ducks can be very messy and tear up your garden. We'd not have them indoors because of the poop.
65 degrees, that's about summer here in the UK lol.
@debbiethemadbee If it's foxes stopping you, then all you need is urine! :D
Get a man to pee into a bottle for you (Hopefully a relative or a very willing friend) and then spread it around the garden. I've been doing it since I saw a fox sniffing at my chickens, except I didn't use a bottle...
@FenrisInvictus Nono, i live in north east scotland, the rest of the UK has mild weather by comparison. England was shitting itself because it got a 2cm blanket of snow last year while we had a mini ice age.
@Pawnbroker00 here in florida, the coldest it ever gets is like 45 fahrenheit, haha.. it tends to be 80 outside on most days.. especially now in june, its like 92
Awesome videos :) I'm thinking about getting a couple of ducks and I'm wondering what to do for them at night. I can either keep them in the garage with a heat lamp or maybe rig something for them outside. What do you suggest?
@jumjumopa I'd say a plastic container with a heating pad on low (and a space away from it in case they get too hot). Then have a pen outside ready for them once they're grown.
@RedFlower26 hahaha i tried potty training mine to go on paper but that didnt work so greatly. my duck flip does not seem to care for being told what to do.
