I take a shower every night before i got to bed, so its good for school in the morning. Would it ruin the waves if i kept it in the buns all night till morning?

@abbydanielsmusic It depends on your hair type. Leaving it in for longer would make it frizzier with tighter and more defined curls so if you have thick hair like me it might not look as good. (I learned this from experience) I like to have my hair almost dry before I do this look so it doesn't get as frizzy.

It worked! I put it in just one bun though, and used mousse rather than gel. I took it down and it was a little wet still, but it dried and it looks great. Thanks so much, I've always wanted this look but I had no idea how to do it :)

Then after a hour when you take the buns out. flip your hair and spray the back :D

@magentaxgirl I wanted to have the curls for school too. So what I did is that I took a shower the night before I went to school & I used her process in the video. Then I let my hair dry a little & then I leave the buns in my hair, before I go to bed I spray my hair a little & I wrap my head in a slik scarf over the buns. MAKE SURE YOUR HAIR ISN'T TOO WET BECAUSE THEN IF YOU HAVE ANY COLORS ON YOUR SCARF IT WILL BLEED ONTO YOUR PILLOW!! Mine did that it ruined my pillow.

I just wanna add a tip for girls with different hair types, if u dont mind

I suggest that if you have naturally wavy, curly or thicker hair that you only leave the buns in for like 10-20 mins even if its not dry because when I leave it for a hour (I have naturally thick wavy hair) it comes out very crazy & not pretty like hers did.

so just leave it in the buns for like 20 mins at most & make them high but loose and your golden (:

@alldayeveryday88 Try this. Do what she did but instead take a diffuser and dry your hair with it kind of pushing the hair to your head with the diffuser. I find it's easier and quicker. Also a sea salt spray might help.

I was just wondering if your hair gets really knotty later in the day, or even the next day when you do it wavy? Whenever I do it wavy like that, later on and the next day its a mess and even after washing and conditioning it really well, and putting in a leave in conditioner it takes along time to comb it out and I end up really damaging my hair. Any tips? =) Oh and my hair is a little shorter than yours, fine, but I have a lot of it and its pretty healthy, if that helps with any suggestions.
