It's not only water vapor, it's mostly Propylene Glycol, the same thing they use in smoke machines.

Still, INCLUDING all the ingredients in the 'flavoring', I can count on my fingers how many components are in E-liquid, as opposed to regular cigs. Even if any of them WERE carcinogenic is it STILL better than the 60 that are in regular cigs, seeing as there are less than ten components total in E-liquid.

The thing is e-cigarette vapor is only really reaching your throat and that's where the nicotine gets into your body. They even say that there is no benefit to holding in the vapor because the majority of nicotine gets in through the throat. Since it's water vapor I don't see how it could be harmful.

The same people that made this video probably are the ones who are behind the videos with very young looking people, teenagers promoting this product when it is demonstrated in mouse models that nicotine retards the dopamine system during the critical time when it is still developing. This is done out of greed. No different than what cigarette companies have done.

As far as, making claims they can't back up I've been using e-cigarettes for two years now and before that I smoked combustible cigarettes. If you live anywhere you have to pay a price to own a product you want. (supply and demand) In the e-cigarette companies case there supplying people with a healthier alternative to smoking and maybe quitting. Ex. Nicotine with 0mg, 11mg, 18mg, 24mg, 36mg to wean yourself off or continue using. Cigarette companies don't give me that option.

Hey E-cigs are DC current and metal alloy mixed in H2O would and probably does create nickel oxide(highly toxic) as I know of one manufacturer that makes their components with part nickel alloy. Heat, chemicals, DC current and inhalation sounds like a bad idea. These devices arent made by health professionals. Maybe you can address that one next.

@recnamoruen8 I believe the chemical reaction you are referring to is called electrolysis. Which can be used in many capacities including electroplating and making toxic nerve gases. Fact is there is no electrolysis that occurs in the vapor production of ecigs. The procedure is the same as a fog machine and in most cases utilizes only FDA approved products. Its about as dangerous as the vapor produced by your frying pan and chicken dinner.
