I think everyone is attuned to "Stranger Danger" but maybe not so much the preferential molester. I, for one, had no idea until a very short time ago. I never imagined that there were people who were obsessed with little children and made it their life's goal to molest them by grooming them. It's so incredibly naive but true. I think it's the reason groomers get away with it so often because people like I used to be didn't think "nice" people committed crimes against children.
