well that was cool. I have that game, but I beat it as Ven first and never saw the sentiment version of Vanitas. I dunno, maybe I screwed up somewhere. That, and I noticed all those moves you had AND the longer health bar. I didn't have anywhere near as many good moves, and my health was significantly lower.

Took me a crapload of retries to perfect it, but I managed to beat him with Tornado + Mine Square combo. Thanks a ton for this, I probably never would've beaten him otherwise, even at level 100! (I was at level 56).

OK, so I thought, "Oh, what the hell, I'll give this method a try", right? I equip Mine Square and Tornado, along with Curaga (even though his attacks are like Sephiroth's Heartless Angel attack--lower your HP to 1 then finish you off, but I use Curaga because I have Leaf Bracer. I did use some potions though). Anyway, I let him do his fancy "Shadow Clone" move at the beginning, kept dodging til he was done, and got behind a rock. I set some mines, and when he tripped one, I used Tornado.

This is nice and all....but I have the U.S. version, and I'm not sure if he does this in the Japanese version....but he knows Curaga. Yes, the S.O.B. can effing HEAL! It's not like he even NEEDS to! The most I get him down to is like, a QUARTER health gone!

@Videogamer3692 he can do this in the Jap version aswell, but he only does it after you use a cure spell, whichi is why you only use items, the only time you purposly use cure is when you want him to heal to extend the battle......

the lettering in your command menu looks weird. There were also several times where it looked like you should have gotten hit. I know that the Tornado trick is real and works, just unsure if you're using the official version of the game or not.

He's got the Japanese version and he's using an English patch. That's how he was able to put it up in English before it was released. In the official English version, you get Void Gear for defeating Vanitas Sentiment.
