  • My family lived ('64-'66) in the building that comes into view @ :38, second floor of the first stairwell you see. I was in the 7th & 8th grade at Goerp Elementary at the time. I was confused at first; when we lived there, the road was a dead end, apparently it was connected to the next road up the hill (where the clip begins) sometime after 1966. Also, at the time, there was a third building on the road, facing the second building at the corner of the main road leading to the base.

  • Yeah, I too was stationed from 77-84 at G-Town. Always wondered what happened to all the cool peeps & the base.

  • I remember hose wood VERY vividly. Escpecially the wall and the bridge in the woods. Even that little creek that went back in there.

  • WOOT!!! That looked like the building I lived in back in 85-88. It looks like one of the buldings have bene torn down on the left. I remebme rthe playground behind it. but THIS ROCKS to see again.

  • Thanks for posting a video on Cooke Barracks. I lived there from 1978 to 1982. Seeing this footage has brought back some memories when my father was station there and my family living there for the years that we did.
