  • how they move easily through mountains

  • its Chitral Gol national park Chitral Pakistan

  • thats near Chitral Pakistan

  • Evolution is fucking beautiful...Look at the Leopards coat shadings then look at the surrounding rock shadings...

  • where in Pakistan?

  • yeah very rare to see them in action like that. Its still the only video I ever seen on Snow Leopards. I saw this when it was aired on AP a few years ago. Would love to see an update show on this Leopard since its been collared

  • beautifil film

  • 1:05 - 1:16 <3

  • that camouflage is amazing..

  • dude, i swear i love cats

  • this was filmed in afghanistan

  • @sinoversin no its the snow leopard of pakistan

  • @DJSexLeopard shouldnt your thinking be the other way around? snipper camouflage was learnt from predators from the wild and implemented!

  • i love and hate the documentary cause of what happens at the end

  • beautiful , would like to see one in the wild some day.

  • Those Kitties camouflage in Mountains,And in snow.

Thats why their called Snow Leopards,Obvious..

    Their my favourate big cat.

  • I love this video! Thanks for sharing! I had to stop in again!

  • If I knew I was being studied by bearded nerds and was forced to wear a collar the size of a small ice cream truck, I'd just say fuck it and go extinct.

  • what program is this

  • @ukIImyles it's from David Attenborough's Natural World Snow Leopard DVD

  • @ukIImyles Planet Earth made by BBC

  • @ukIImyles see full documentary at watch?v=jKm7Dmpt6Us

  • DAAAMN NATURE YOU SCARY!!

  • @fruvalcaba57

Damn look at that son bitch go, he haulin ass!

  • Don't know who is more bad ass...I think any animal that can run that fast on a cliff side is awesome

  • With all the political and social unrest in Pakistan, its surprising(pleasantly) that someone has time to care for its wildlife (even if its outsiders, at least someone is allowed to do it).

  • this shit is sick the snow leopard is one of my favorite animals

  • Snow leopards look like there from another time..like they should have been alive during Mammoth and Sabertooth tigers days

  • We invite you to add this video to our wildlife map

  • Hey Brainiac Scientists, did it cross your oversized brains to make the colar the same colors as the leopards coat, ditto for the bright blue ear tags. Are these the people we want analyzing the data?

  • That one kill doesn't prove anything. That cat will have to work harder for its food because of that white collar, I don't care what they say about it.

  • awsome predator

  • Is this guy filming in Pakistan? I hope he wont get caught by taliban...

  • the title of this video made me think that it was a snow leapord being shot.

    lol good thing it wasnt

they better not touch this cat because it is very rarely seen

  • this is a beautiful, elusive creature. i can't understand why it's necessary to use such devices on an animal that lives in places humans mostly do not. the intervention of humans, as in my opinion, will only hurt the animal in the long-run. i think the size and the sky blue tags are ridiculous. how can one get to know a species from a laboratory and not witnessing it over time with real eyes.

  • that is so good video i heaver seen, great job kevsterino.

  • If you had any concerns about the white collar, then why didn´t you just try to match it with the cats fur?

  • PWND !

  • Those huge collars make everything just feel so unatural.

  • @levthelion yeah but those collars are helping researchers track down more of these animals. because the snow leapord is an elusive animal that is rarely seen by humans

  • my computer is a snow leopard.. these things are beasts

  • standing still on the rocks, you barely see her until she moves.... stunning! rare beauty!

  • check out the caracal, also an amazing cat, and is my #1 favorite...2nd favorite - clouded leopard. 3rd favorite - african leopard

  • most elegant of all the big cats... so beautiful

  • i would love to see that guy trying to film then he cant find her then the thing is lached onto his neck like a big tick

  • Why is this thing so huge, and why do they tag her anyway ? Just let the animals live normally. Of course she's going to hunt even with an alarm clock stuck on her neck, how else is she going to survive dumb fucks ??

  • @KaLNFoRc3R i know you commented a long time ago, but the collars a designed to make sure the animal is comortable around its neck. plus its to track it down and enough of these placed on the cats will let researchers know more about it because the cat is rarley seen by humans

  • Don't they have a smaller, better thing to detect the snow leopard than that stupid collar that looks like one used to tie elephant and buffalo necks

  • Such beautiful animals.

  • wow, she was rolling befor the hunt because the collar is anoying as fuck. she knew it would slow her down...look how big that fucking collar is

  • @FullBloodedHmoob she rolled around in the dirt to camoflage herself better.

  • @IslandThunder84 NO! DUMB ASS!. why in the hell do she need to role around in the dirt to camouflage herself?. her coat already look like the rocks and gray like the rocks..

  • @FullBloodedHmoob Thats what she did. They are smart animals. You don't have to agree with me though you can go off in your own way.

  • my favorite animal is the snow leopard

  • that rolling thing she did was so cute and wierd. they need to figure why they do it.

  • @105fatty the leopard rolled around because, the dirt can make her camoflage more effective, they are smart, very skilled and agile.

  • 1:25 damn they fucking camo in GOOD!

  • Pakistani snow leapord ! coooooool ! . .

  • at 0:40 a human would have been broke in parts! but goat got alot of skills

  • My dog rolls like that when we go take a walk... I wonder.

  • @AlecMomont maybe he is on a hunt you need to take care

  • Can they make this tracker smaller? Or tag it to the ear or something?

  • I think the problem is mostly the bulk of the battery pack. Because they're so elusive and roam over such huge areas once a leopard is collared it must have a powerful transmitter and long life battery. The battery will last for about 3 years or so and has to be waterproof, survive sub-zero temps and all kinds of impacts. Newer digital GPS trackers are being used and require much less power than old transmitters, I think even GSM mobile phone technology is being adapted.

  • Mobile phone tech, now there is an excellent idea. Now I did not think about the battery pack. Batteries weigh quite a bit, so what you see on this collar is mostly battery which must be cumbersome. If there is a chip implanted, the heat of the animal will keep it from being drained from the cold and the chip could be waterproof. Also what about an extensive study over a course of many years that is funded properly that would alleviate the cheapest approach which seems to be the collar.Thanx

  • @kevsterino I wish my phone would last even 3 days.....

  • @kevsterino Screw battery life, i don't like going in the wild and every animal i see has some kind of tag. People want to see nature untouched and this 20lb dumbbell hanging from the neck is an eye sore. what a disgrace

  • that cat is just beautiful.love it.

  • cool.

  • that camo is amazing...squint your eyes and ya cant see em

  • love it

  • anyone know if the full documentary is available on youtube?

  • yeah type in pakistans snow leopard

  • Coolest animal on the Planet.

  • @mcgaugh57 If these become extinct the planet will loose it's soul.

  • this btyful animal lives at himalayah in pakistan and nepal

  • so bueatiful

  • Amazing and Beautifullllllll
