this was one of the firs transformers that I bought with my own money, instead of having the ever-so-grateful parents buy for me. I also remember how much of a pain it was for me to try to transform him, all his panels kept falling off. He now sits happily beside my vintage G1 Soundwave on my shelf, still intact after all these years.

i dont know about the toy but i loved the dude in the show. which i 1 of the 3 cartoon shows i can say followed and liked or loved the others r g1 and animated. though its funny how recycled most of the bots where g1, g2 beast wars and in the end some beast machines but the show was likeable and skybite was a bad guy that was kinda likeable

well skybite is a ignorate transformer that was basically his little thing in the rid cuze if being the suckup to megatron didnt work and getting beat-up often is not working then yeah he's like a starscream in my opinon but yeah i can see your point in modle wise

is not the figure you don't like, is the character.

The figure is very show accurate, and has more articulation than many of the RID toys.

I really like this toy, if I find it, I'll buy it ;)

I have the Cybershark version but this one has such nice detail in shark mode that I won an Ebay auction for him yesterday! 8.50+shipping for a repaint of a figure I have. Sky BYte looks better so no problem. I would definitely recommend as cybershark was an awesome toy and this ones detailling in shark mode is beautiful.

i love the figure. He's 100 percent acurate to the series, good poseibility, nice alt mode. I think an issue ur having is ur not doing the tf 100 percent right. His shark mode is kinda tricky ill give u that but hes still an awesome fig, my fav actually (And i have a fairly big collection (50). Mine works fine and the hips are solid and dont snap at all. I think im bias because it was my first fig and i loved it and i just got another the other day and i havent put it down

fair enough...it's probably just my figure that is really loose and if that's the case, i can only review him based on what i have. I can't assume he's better on other figures ya know? I do like the alt mode though...haha

I never was one for animal type transformers (save the Dinobots for sentimental reasons).

Anyways, pretty nice review. It's good to go ahead and poke at the stuff that people should stay away from every once in a while.
