Shame they didn't mention the evolution the samurai made in the 16th century to a mounted/dismounted spearman and the evolution of armour in that period.

Some European armour used only by horseman weighed over 135 pounds.

His european armour weighs 85lbs?? A joust armor possibly, but the common battlefield gear never was that heavy. Here's one that has a weight of 50lbs

...and what drives me crazy... is that there is so much talking and elaborating on suicides... and on harakiri... and Kamikaze pilots... and on the Japanese sword... yet nobody even mentions the Armor... and when they do... then of-course it's some English-Slave-Master... who just can't keep his mouth shut... becase Japan was ransacked... and so much was stolen... and kept as war-trophies... and people love to play Ninjas.. and they love to play German... yet they have no brains and zero Noggen!

If you want to cut the the chase go to 34:35-37:00 in the vid; you will see how flexible they are in a very cool looking full armor, him runing very fast as well as fighing very well too. It will brake all the myhts about Western armor.

I wonder how they got the Guns and the Western way of war? Do the Dutch or Portuguese sound familiar?
