Probably my favorite band. Their melodies are so original and familiar, but yet not easy to digest or obvious. They seem to always have something to say, and also to always hide something beautiful that you try to find out everytime you listen to any of their songs. What else? I love them!

I've heard their drummer Mark is heavily involved in the song writing process, though this might not apply to vocal melodies, still I think it's a very evenly distributed task between the band, with each of them bringing their own flare of expertise and what not.

Trail of Fire is like an epic spiritual journey for the ears. It's as vivid as TOOL's "Pushit" is dark. Oceansize is one of the best bands of our era; shame no one knows it. I wish they were to tour the US, maybe with the likes of The Mars Volta. Seattle would flip over this band.
