@anmesiaa the engine should be built to wear it won't over heat but i would suggest no more than 2 tanks at a time.

@discoslot ither to lean or could be to rich turn the low speed more rich and see if the problem still occours if it does turn the other way but not too much remember 8ths of a turn :)

@MrCman182 Most hobby stores sell nitro fuel. The most common is 20% which costs appox. $40 a gallon depending on where you are and what brands are available. No mixing required. A gallon will usually last me about a month and a half going out every weekend and the odd day after work in my Savage X 4.6

If its a nitro rc, you can buy nitro online or at a hobby shop. If it is a gas car, i believe just gas will work, such as the type of gas runs a real car. I may be wrong on the gas car one, but im 87.5% sure.

please answer back my nitro truck is an Exceed Infinity i cant tune it it keeps dying out and it overheats in 2 minutes of going around in circles trying to tune it. it was okay when it was new then i hadnt play with it for more than four months, when i tried to start but it wont start so i cleaned the engine and it started but it keeps dying out i cant find the right place its about 6-8 turns in the needle but i cant seem to find the right place

@franciskentoandasan A few things that you want to check if first is the glow plug have a good full coil, does it glow close to the bottom and not near the top of the plug. next check for air leaks but blowing air into the fuel inlet and covering the air intake, then put soapy water over different parts to check for bubbles. Needle settings are not in the exceed manual for my car at least, the high end for me was 7 and the low 9 both from fully closed hope it helps!

@franciskentoandasan what you have to do is twist the high end speed needle clockwise in to it stops then 2.5 to 3 turns counter-clockwise.

I'm only familiar with Traxxas's engines and they recommend 5 tanks during break-ins...gradually building up the speed and temperature of the engine. From other break in methods ive read about, they also advise 3-5 tanks. Two tanks isn't enough I don't think.

"Flush low speed needle means the head of the screw is even with the material around it.

If you can slide your screwdricer across the head of the lsn screw, then it is flush".

@sonic2000ish If you didn't get nitro fuel specifically made for nitro car engine (because there is also airplane nitro which is different blend of nitro and oil), the best thing is to return it if it's not opened yet. 20% nitro content is best for car engine. People that race also use up to 30% nitro.
