  • THIS WAS SO SIMPLE AND BASIC and easy to understand this is an awesome way of teaching and telling us how to d this, I have made a new start and new journey as of 2 weeks ago at the age of almost 51 I cannot began to tell you how much better I feel and Ive just started!! TY so much for this video I watched it and its almost exactly what i been doing these first 2 weeks. You explain it beautifully. AMEN and bless you.

  • As I get older and more mature, I find myself wondering how on earth that I, when I was a teenage, was fooled into believe this crap.

    Eating lots of veggies, fruits, is fine, but have some eggs, fish, and poultry in your diet. It will only make you healthier and it will show in your body. Most raw vegan gurus either look anorexic or "suspiciously" out of shape within a few years.

    I love it how you took into consideration the mental side of the process. It is very important to be clear about what exactly you are trying to achieve. Eg. Weight loss, feeling energetic, improving bloods. Because I have seen so many people fail because they don't have clear-cut goals.

She looks great and she says she feels more alive. I believe her. I think the food you eat play a big role in your behavior also. Thank you for sharing these tips.

I've heard about it from a friend who really spent a great deal of body weight, although he's sort of a freak, so is there anybody typical out there :) in order to confirm the proficiency of this eating plan?

  • Looks like the starvation diet. it doesnt seem that healthy you need a decent amount of protein to repair cells on the cellular level and the body muscle protein.

  • one thing about raw foodists that has always stumped me, they won't cook grains and legumes. Yes i know they soak them for weeks to get them soft, but who has time for that? The whole science behind the raw theory is that cooking destroys enzymes. But enzymes are only present in water bearing parts of plants. Things like seeds, rice, wheat and beans are DRY and do not have enzymes. so why not cook them? The rich supply of minerals in these type of foods are unaffected by heat.

  • Can I do a raw food with just a good knife? Is there raw food eating w/out blenders and food processors? Shouldn't raw foodist be eating foods available by season, so what foods will a raw foodist eat over the winter. Are they eating those foods traditionally available to a normal agrarian culture? Are they sprouting grains and legumes? And what about yams and other winter root vegetables'? Aren't leafy greens and fruits off he menu unless they're are 'canned' in the-old-fashion way.

  • Fruit has sugar and your body converts sugar into glucose. Turns into fat.

We live longer on average, many dr's and dieticians are all for it as many top vegetarian athletes - look up the video.   • @DorzBonnix I agree with you girl! Nothing really beats the diet program at the site WeightLossAction.Info.. Both of my parents followed it and the results were pretty marvellous.. There weight were rapidly decreasing.. Got to try it myself also. :)

  • @brigurl88 - NO. Dairy is a no no. However, if you have a Trader Joes where you live, they carry a wonderful Ice"cream" made from 100% Coconut milk.

  • I weigh about 150 and one of my goals is to reach a solid 205. My diet now is basically everything in the normal food group. If I switch to complete raw , How can I reach 205 if raw foods make you lose weight

  • @ocheyan oviously you didnt listen to what she said. Its about moving slowly to saw food not everybody can go cold turkey and go from eating meat or cooked food to raw food.

  • @ocheyan She's telling those of us who have been eating a dead, SAD diet how to TRANSITION. From what many experts in the raw food lifestyle have been telling me you put your body in shock if you go all out and go from dead food to raw overnight. For people like me who have health problems it will be very traumatic to our bodies to just start eating all raw. This is actually a very helpful video.

  • I'm looking into raw and unprocessed foods as my children have allergies to processed foods. I breastfeed and my little one has hives when I eat processed compared to fresh food prepared at home.

  • @smurfieboo sounds like you werent enjoying your food and not eating enough fats or protein(which are abundant in plant food), also food has an enormous emotional attachment which you were probably missing as well. hence the saying "comfort food" which isn't the most nutritious.

  • @thetwentyfourth thats cuz your tricking yourself its all mind over matter i use to not eat very much meat or none at all due to being poor at the time then i got a job ate meat everyday of my life finished college with a computer tech degree eating meat and ive never felt better, not eating meat i was sick all the time, unhealthy just dont be a gross fat slob thats only meals are fast food and anyone can be healthy meat or no meat

The changes in my body, my new clarity of mind etc, are all in such enormous contrast with my previous physical state that the idea of it being just placebo effect is utterly laughable to me. When you were sick and not eating very much... well, you probably wouldn't have, had you been eating fresh fruit and vegetables.

    Naturally everyone has their own path. Take my words with a grain of salt, do your own research.

  • veganism is for pussies? hahaha. i am 70% vegan, i kept the meat (grassfed only) kept the eggs (cage free,grain free) i am completly anti-soy, well my life has turned around, i also stopped smoking cigs, no fast food, i am 45 now and am healthier now than i was when i was in my late 20's. i was on two antidepressants, anti-inflammatories, no energy, colds all the time, bodyfat was higher %, today i am lean, have more muscle, go to gym, not a cold in 5 yrs now, no meds today. veggies rock!!!!!!

  • I have this quirk, I enjoy the feeling of eating, like, something picked right out of the ground. I like those gnarly chunky granolas, with 20 ingredients, I love wheatgrass juice, like I really enjoy those things over processed foods. I go around the neighborhood and pick fruits and other edibles, I love eating them right off the tree!

After speaking with several medical cancer specialists, I'm very disappointed with their unwillingness to simply investigate the MANY "cancer free" testimonials by honest, sincere people of all backgrounds. You are right. These doctors refuse to talk nutrition.

  • i just had a bad asthma attack on tuesday at 4am and ended up in hospital i got out today and now i am starting the raw food diet in the morning along with my new medication , if anybody has or is curantly on the raw food diet i would love to know how you started and what you eat thanks

  • interesting fact: eating cooked food caused humans to evolve into what we are today. This is because the brain needs glucose to work, cooking food recreates part of the digestion process which makes it easier to digest when eaten. This is because the body finds it easier to extract the nutrients as there is essentially a longer digestion process.

    The raw food diet is good for loosing weight fast, to keep your weight at a reasonable and natural level it is best to eat a well balanced diet.

  • Great information about the raw food diet. Processed foods are so addictive aren't they, and of course so bad for you. I am on day 51 of a juice fast and am posting a daily video on youtube of my progress. In 5 days I am going off my juice fast and I am looking for a healthy option to continue my new eating plan so this video was very useful for me. Thanks!

  • I have terrible GERD and was advised to start on raw veg diet. I am also Type 2 diabetic but that's under control, the GERD is not. Is this video translated into writing to read? How to liquefy spinach without buying $400 mixers? Thanks. This is a great video.

    Spinach is easily liquefied, even with a cheap blender, it might take a minute longer to blend. If you take 3 hands of spinach, 1 cup of water and a banana, you have a tasty green smoothie.

  • @TheMjgirl1 you get your protein from dark green vegetables and nuts. Spinach is 30% protein and nuts are also high in protein

  • Living, Raw Foods FEED Living Cells. Once the food is cooked, it becomes DEAD. It is best to try to eat most of your foods RAW vs. Cooked.

  • @six80ususus If people did their research, they would know that not only animal products contain protein, iron, and B12. There has been biased myths coming from meat and dairy industries. You can get plenty of amino acids from sprouts and wheat grass juice. Wheat grass juice contains plenty of B12. Lots of these recipes contain plenty of raw nuts for protein. Plenty of vegetables are full of iron. You need Vitamin C to absorb the iron, but most recipes have combinations of vitamins and minerals.

  • @CuteandCreepy123 I never said only animal products contain protein. I know plants contain protein but one plant does not contain all amino acids that people need to build muscle. You cant live off one plant variety sonce each plant is missing at least one of the essential amino acids people need to build muscle. You neeed toto combine plants to get them all. But no one plant has all that humans need. Only animal products do.

  • @six80ususus soy, quinoa and hemp have the 8 essential amino acids necessary for protein in sufficient quantities. mixing beans and rice also provides these aminos.
