lol edoras and rest of rohan next. then dale, esgaroth and the lonely mountain.. then southern elf areas.. then haradwaith (far harad and near harad), khand.. then lake of rhun and forodwaith in the north.. also gondor and osgiliath and after that mordor.. though turbine folk said that they are not going to add mordor.. one does not simply exp to mordor you know.
This is EXACTLY as it was described in books. Movies on the other hand... Well, it looked great but Orthanc was too tall and it was just an empty encircled space :) Pleasently surprised :) Can't wait for the 27th :)
Disappointed sadly. The tower was much larger and not black with random patterns of nonsense. It was a majestic tower that represented good and while the surrounding area was adulterated it retained its beauty. This is so WoW looking and childish, it steps away from the LOTRO graphics. This just keeps ruining the image of the movie, the amazing game inspiring movie. This is almost a deal breaker for me. I wanted to see architecture and masterful graphics not a smash of carn dum and enedwaith.
Much angularity is in buildings! To me it reminds Morrowind even! Graphic arts are bad! Real Isengard was much more! There 1,5 miles in a diameter! And Orthank was higher and more monolithic! To me it anymore reminds the tower of necromancy on a bald mountain in Dol-guldur!
I know it. But they are not unique, who recreated Isengard! For example, fashions of Third Age Total War 3.0 did him very plausible! Far more than here.
I can't believe the lack of mobs in this area. I don't mean to sound like a hater, but Turbine need to realise at some point that this is supposed to The Lord of the Rings - why is Isengard guarded by a handful of trolls and goblins? It should be swarming with orcs.
Makes me worry that Helms Deep will likely just be a skirmish with 3 or 4 orcs running at you at a time.
after my 4 month dj tour im gonna play lotro for the rest of the year

I like how Orthanc looks like it grew out of the rock. More like the books.

@MrColinWinter This looks like one of the earlier builds before Turbine put a lot of the mobs in.
