@xXxladysman69xXx to this standard, yes. but honestly i never had a lesson in my life and played on a mates kit once every 2 weeks for a bit and i got pretty good pretty quickly. sounds cliched, but you've just gotta practice man. even just thinking about how to drum or air drumming teaches you. after a couple hours you'll have your first beat sorted and then you'll be hooked :)

i've been playing for 4 years with no lessons, and on my practice playlist, this is my second warm up, because it's fast, groovy, mental, and technical. You practice everything in it. But you have to take note, i've been practicing at least 3 hours a day 6 days a week alone, and 4 days a week with 2 bands. That being said, if you practice and work hard, it's pretty easy to get good. start with songs by like, sublime.
