  • wow, how sad for me a catholic, to see the pain of this bishop. i really feel for him. just as thought , what moral right would a gay glergyman have to deny a father marrying a consenting adult daughter or a mum a son or a sister and brother or brother sister? indeed what moral right would anybody have to deny a porn star and or a prostitute from being ordained priest while maintening their life style? soon or later someone is gonna want to exercise these rights... i dread to think whats next

  • @jphairy I went to a local meeting in Los Angeles for the potential of the Ordinariate in the USA. One priest told me that his church (parish) fired him for being too "catholic" -I could tell that firing shook him to his core.

  • Thanks so much for posting this excellent and historic video. It has made a number of my friends cry. I am so sad that TEC leadership is taking such a hard stand on staying in the Anglican Communion and doesn't gracefully back out of it, as the Communion has gracefully hinted at, since it can not honor its most basic commitments (and I am not speaking here of the "gay issue").

  • Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. (Mt 7,1-2)

  • probably the most misused and misunderstood scripture in the bible...was hitler a murderer? oops you just made a judgment...don't be a hypocrite.

  • Another judgement? Asking questions seems to be very disturbing. Why am I called a "hypocrite" and someone, "who disgraces Jesus Christ"? For my part, I wouldn't think this of both of you! By the way - you'd like to compare mass murder to love between persons of the same sex? Sounds rather odd, doesn't it?

  • When the Episcopal Church began ordaining & marrying homosexuals, they gave themselves over to Satan without pretense. If you are a christian, flee from this evil organization. You are disgracing Jesus Christ by sanctioning this abomination with your presence.

  • Are we to know, what's a curse or a blessing for the church? How can Bishop Love be this sure about truth and God's revelation? Remember racial discrimination in the past centuries! Wasn't biblical truth a well chosen legitimation? So what about homosexuality? A sin - for the bible tells me so? It's so simple to read in the bible what I want to read. There are alternatives, bishop!

  • @matsoms The Bishop is correct....and it was a sad day for the Episcopal Church

  • Perhaps you should have titled this: "A Few Episcopal Bishops Grieve Decisions Made by GC." The ABC is not our pope with whom we must agree on every instance and sexuality is not the heart of Christian belief. Sorry you are sad but lots of GLBT folks have suffered far worse for centuries and no one seemed to mind. So why now should anyone care about your discomfort? If you are indeed right, will not that become evident anyway? Finally, who said that being right was the point anyway?

  • This is such a sad video! I can't believe what is happening to the episcopal church.

  • I'm with Bishop Love, my heart is broken too. I

  • This is a terribly sad day for The Episcopal Church. Bishop Bill speaks the truth, i believe, when he says TEC's resolution will ultimately be a curse for the church. I pray that this 'disease' in the church won't cross the Atlantic to the Church of England.

  • You can tell their hearts are broken. I think a great many more hearts will be broken by the new Episcopal Church before it is all over. I pray that all godly men will be sustained through this slow train wreck.

  • In my opinion, Bishop Love (2nd person to speak in this video) is speaking the truth. Thank you Bishop.

  • Bishop Love's words speak the truth. The future of the Episcopal Church will also survive if we train up children learning of God's Truth's; God's original design for us. I am greiving the loss of strong men/women who lead the Episcopal Faith & Traditions. We must love everyone; dislike the sin. Bishop Love Thank You for taking the stand that you did. What happened to fearing God, it seems decisions were more about fearing men and worldly issues .
