The fanservice was totally unnecessary, but this scene is pretty important. For example, Lelouch found out that the reason Clovis told him Cornelia would know who killed his mother is that Cornelia investigated it, making it seem less likely that Cornelia did it.

I think Euphemia is his cousin, not his sister. Nunnally is his sister. You'll notice that they speak of "my sister" and "my mother," not "our sister" or "our mother."
I actually really liked that Euphie figured things out so quickly. And the whole scene where she's wrapped in Zero's cape - I understood it. She was soaked, so she got out of the clothes, so she wouldn't get sick. Lelouch gave her his cape, so she wasn't completely undressed, either. It was his own, quiet way of looking out for his little sister...
I think euphie and a pair better with Lelouch than Suzaku who agrees with me

@kkundlas786 There are three things wrong with that: Marriage and children between siblings and even cousins is dangerous because the DNA is so similar that it can mess up the DNA in children (the DNA is repetitive because it's the same) causing EXTREMELY serious birth defects in their children. Secondly, he said the loved her, but if you don't go overly retarded fangirl over it, you'll realize he meant as a sister. Lastly, She's dead. You can't marry a dead person.

The fanservice was totally unnecessary, but this scene is pretty important. For example, Lelouch found out that the reason Clovis told him Cornelia would know who killed his mother is that Cornelia investigated it, making it seem less likely that Cornelia did it.

@divinesleeper yup. that's why i wish someone who had good video editing skills would upload a consistent version with britainians speaking english, and japanese speaking japanese. i can't stand the "proper episodes" of code geass uploaded by multiverse101 here on youtube. the execution is terrible, and it's clear that there is very little consistency in keeping the right people speaking the right language

I think Euphemia is his cousin, not his sister. Nunnally is his sister. You'll notice that they speak of "my sister" and "my mother," not "our sister" or "our mother."

I actually really liked that Euphie figured things out so quickly. And the whole scene where she's wrapped in Zero's cape - I understood it. She was soaked, so she got out of the clothes, so she wouldn't get sick. Lelouch gave her his cape, so she wasn't completely undressed, either. It was his own, quiet way of looking out for his little sister...
