  • I go to places like that to get away from people like you

  • that means you are born in 1996?? come on man. "recalculate!" nice place though

  • I LOVE my z-rest, its crazy cause it feels like there's more thickness to it because of its design. Get it people if you haven't all ready, plus it keeps me warm too. Good gear Daniel! I also have a Mountain hardware sleeping bag.

  • I'm sick of people preaching their beliefs on other people. Same as propaganda, communism, all of it. No one thinks for themselves, and that includes in religion.

  • @outdoorsurvivors Well it's better than people preaching hate and shooting up folks because they are evil.

  • DUDE! Where are you?!? That place looks awe inspiring! Absolutely gorgeous

  • @ajatkinson2004 This is Colorado Springs with Pike's Peak in the background.

  • i'm tired of just sitting around while the whole world goes to hell please tell me how you got this all set up I want to tell the goods news to

  • @christlover3000 Well, first I made the decision to do it. Then, I gathered together the gear I needed and took a few warm up hikes. Then, I announced it on youtube and put it on the website. Then, I took what money I had and made my way up to Maine and started hiking.

God's been more than awesome in taking care of me along the way.

Today, I'm in Missouri, about 40 miles from entering Kansas.

  • I miss external frames. Great air circulation while carrying, and when you make camp you can take the pack off the frame and lash other gear to it like a saw, axe and wood. Just don't take em on the airlines. Friend of mine's external frame pack was not allowed as carry on and got all bent up and mangled by baggage handling.

  • i really hate that some ppl feel that since your not a visible christian and that you dont go to church and say amen after grace and that you question where we came from and how exactely that happened that they either shun you or try to impress their view point onto you, well i know that iv'e been to a few meeting at church that never did any of that and that is where i felt gods presance the most so much that i collapsed infront of everybody out of nowhere because the weight was so much.

  • I have had my Asolo Fugitives for over a year and they are outstanding. Worked out great on my first 14er ascent and descent on Mt. Democrat.

  • Check out Duluth Trading Co. They have some killer pants with lifetime warranty. I can destroy a pair of carharts in a year.

  • My first pair made it over 1000 miles, all of the way to Winchester, Virginia.

I'm currently a week away from being in Ohio and I'm on my second pair.

  • I just ordered a pair or boots ASOLO Fugitive GTX same color are they working out fine?

    gl

  • Excellent!

I just bought my second pair in Winchester, Virginia.

So, the first pair went for over 1000 miles.

    Good choice!

  • you get up around the tetons or montana let me know ill join you on a hike and camp a bit

  • Hmmmm pitching a tent for Jesus?....Mountain Hardware? Sounds like Daniel may be batting for the other side....hope his fellow Xians don't find out....

  • Now wait a minute, if you were born in 96, that would put you around age 13,...........am I stupid or is there something I'm not picking up on........?

  • im thinkin about the same thing! that dude doesn't look young enough to be born ten yrs b4 1986! he even looks way older than me and i was born in 87

  • he meant he was born again then :)

  • Nope...

    just a joke everybody.

  • He was Born Again, Became a Christian onthat date.

  • He was just joking. That's why he chuckled and made that face after he said it. =)

  • yeah He was Born Again. Became a Christian in 1996., and for us christians that is the date we were truly born

  • So if somebody high up from the company of those brands and supports you with product or finacial assistance. Then the product completely sucks when put to the test, then what. Guess you have to be honest.

  • there is a website that lists alot of wifi spots across the country. Might be useful. Dont remember the name probably just google it will find it.

  • Dude I would love to come with you guys for a week or so! That would be awesome! I'm praying for you guys!!

  • EXODUS 7 :20

  • Daniel, please grab a patch kit for your tent. its too easy to get a hole in a tent, and night time rain can get mighty cold.

    change your socks often.

keep all the water you can comfortably carry too.

    God bless!

  • HECK NO Keep Those SOCKS Smelly

  • wow, like arthur blessitt. Awsome, will you come to North, las vegas.

  • I think he's in Colorado, but I'm not sure. I just know that in several videos he has mentioned Pike's Peak, which is in Colorado.

  • Yup, Colorado Springs with Pike's Peak in the background.

    ...nice!

  • just so you knowi DONT WANT your MONEY

    i dont want any money

the Telling Others ABOUT CHRIST Pays for ITSELFS

  • Well, that's good.

'Cuz I don't have any money for you to even want.

I'll be uploading more videos soon.

It's just difficult to find wireless connections out here on the road.

  • I DONT WANT YOUR MONEY!

    i wanted to GIVE YOU 10 $

  • wow... What an awe-inspiring scene you have there.

  • (i watched again. almost got choked-up looking at that scene)

  • How are you getting internet?

  • I don't know, yet.

I've got a wireless connection on my laptop, so I'm pretty much at the mercy of free wi-fi spots.

    We'll see how that goes.

  • Ummm... i was just wondering. This should take a while so, what are you going to do about your job?

  • This is now my job.

    Great benefits!

  • i dont have a JOB

    consider Hireing me

  • AMEN!

  • let me rephrase that: a paying job.....

  • WiFi - argh! I can tell you the best places to get free WiFi - usually coffee shops (like Starbucks), and most hotel parking lots - not Hampton Inn though - they require a password (urg!). Super 8 is an excellent spot for WiFi. Borders Books and some restaurants have it too. Some Starbucks don't have free WiFi - it depends on what part of the country you're in. If you have Sprint cell phone service, you can get a WiFi USB free to plug into your laptop - I have not tried this yet.

  • dude you're 13????LOL 10 years before you were born in 1986. Anyways i'll pray that God will guide you and give you the strength you need

  • Daniel,

If you stop by Wisconsin you know you have a soft bed and a warm meal waiting for you, as well as clean running water.

  • you meant born again right???

  • your lookin pretty good for 13 years of age

  • I'll pray for you. God bless.

  • great job ! really cool that you are doing this ! can't wait for updates

  • Good luck, Daniel.

    Of course 5/5

  • Please come to Heritage Christian Church in westerville, oh. We'd love to have you! God Bless

  • Ha ha ha, word.

Wow, where are you! That background is just beautiful!

    God Bless.

  • 1986 WAS NOT 10 years before you were born.

    lol

  • 1986. . . maybe 10 years before he was born again.

  • lol yea that might make more sense.

i was born in 1985 and im pretty sure he has a few years on me :P

  • He just said he was on a scouting trip in 1986. so obviously it was a joke. (i think he was making an age joke)

  • GOD Bless brother.

  • +Our Lord Jesus Christ bless you !

  • Whoah Daniel! Where are you at? What mountains are those in the background? Absolutely beautiful.
