@CrimeAvenger2 I never understood the animosity between oriental people. You lot would be better if you were united, much like the Europeans - who have had a bloody history together - are.
@CrimeAvenger2 You're hilarious. Luckily you do not speak for most of the Japanese, because most would recognise that a more unified Far East would mean more power and stability to the region, as opposed to having to rely on America, which is what you do now - do you really want that to continue? To even compare South Korea and China with the two most poor nations on earth is hilarious and shows how uneducated you are.

Wow, more nationalistic sentiment in this piece of propaganda than a City Hall World Cup pep rally! If you really want to show the nice points of Korea to the world, I suggest you cut Prof. Hwang from the video. The man is an admitted liar, fabricating the results of his "research", and an enormous black eye to Korea and my university.
Thanks for your comments. I was trying to show exactly this. I didn't think I'd have to spell out that he's a liar since everyone knows! I don't think a nation of scientists should be condemned for his dishonesty.
I totally agree with you Pavlusha in that there are so many good, HONEST, and productive scientists in Korea. I don't know if you are in Korea or not, but you'd be surprised as to how many supporters(conspiracy theorists) Hwang still has here. I'm in graduate school now at SNU, and I have to put up these idiots and their demonstrations whenever I pass the administration building.
So while you and I are pretty convinced that he is a fraud, there are still a substantial number of Koreans that see him as some local legend/nationalist icon/2nd coming of Christ/unfortunate scapegoat that was used and abused by "the man." It seems to me that if Korean people are set on beating the nationalist drum around a Korean hero, then why not gravitate towards a respectable and internationally-known figure like the incoming Secretary General of the UN Ban Ki-Moon.
Totally awesome is right!!! I love your visionary perspective during and after showing the HUBO robot. Why don't the 2 Korea's just unite to have one free market economy physically connected with China to make this region's part in the global economy complete?
Korea has enormous potential for opportunity with it's strategic location and high technological abilities & potential. Within 10 years, androids will be a consumer product of S. Korea and Japan, used in homes & stores.
The two Koreas won't get together for at least another 25 to 30 years. Too many obstacles here bixlerscott. Aside from the current and rather obvious political problems, reunification will continue to be stymied by the North's abysmal economic realities. East Germany was 17 times more affluent than the current NK when East & West Germany reunited.
Having said that, the former E.Germany still remains relatively underdeveloped compared to the former W.Germany, and this inequality, in turn, results in a certain degree of tension between the two. Some speculate that the two German states may have reunified prematurely. Taking all this(and many more unstated points) into consideration, it is not likely that you or I will see a unified Korean Peninsula before we're old enough to collect social security.

Japan did huge help to Korea from 19th century. However, they are only launched a war.
We realized that it was useless to educate them. watch?v=cJ8R-79a2CA
Korea and China is the same as Rwanda and Somalia.
Don't rank Japan among with other ASIA. As for you, knowing passes by Asia.

Nonsense.
China and Korea were the lowest GDP in the world before half a century.
Japan did huge help to Korea with China.
However, China and Korea do racial discrimination to Japan for a long time by Sinocentrism.
On the one hand, Europe has exploited Africa for 500 years or more.
What were you doing?

1965, Japan has helped 800 million dollars to South Korea.
National budgets of South Korea at that time were 350 million dollars.
Japan gave money more than a national budget of South Korea of two years.
Do you still say, "Help South Korea" ? Aha?
100 South Korean criminals or more are arrested in Japan every day now.
Is the United States helping to Mexico so much? Cut it out !
