if that truck is under 26.000 lbs than you can drive it with a regular licence , with out air brakes, if it has air brakes you need the air endorsment.. if over 26.000 lbs you need a class B , with a trailer over 26.000 lbs you need a class A licence .....hope this helps right out of the CDL manual..
