i don't the facts etc,etc the the passat directly behind the bike had damage to its front n/s....rear ended the bike possibly?? like i said, don't know the facts.

& as for 'Hey lads please give up your bikes' i guess your one of these cagers that own the road & oblivious to anything else on it.

I feel very sorry for the biker, (hope he/she is ok). I do 140 miles a day on the M1 from J21 to J14 and back. The amount of times i see bikers going inbetween cars is crazy, i see it every day. Like i said, i really feel sorry for the biker, but i put money on that he was riding like a fucking mad man!!!!!! he may stop now!

I`m sure the "Give up your bikes" message is well-meant. Thanks. Bikes are great - in fact I don`t even have a car licence. Just bike. Always wear quality gear. Always ride defensively. Only open the throttle up when the conditions allow - and even then, check left and right roads. Don`t weave dangerously between moving traffic. Don`t overtake at speed immediately - hover near the car, let the driver sense you, then go. At junctions, with cars waiting till you pass, drop down a gear and check..

In all fairness... it is kind of a reality check... you see a lump in the road covered by a sheet and yes you are temporarily help up by everyone else taking a good old look but you tend to watch what youre doing and pay a lot more attention to the road afterwards....

reality is the best medicine for most people...

As this biker in the video DIe and not only that the person who was involve get a conviction record as well... WHY should inocent person suffer from the stupidity of powerfull bikes....????

@MrVatlex I have a powerfull sportbike and I do not go racing roads. There is going to be a minority of everything who break laws what about all the car street racers who crash and kill innocent people should we ban cars too? What about truckers who fall asleep and flatten innocent people? Where did you get you information that they all constantly break laws? You never hear about the bikers driving who drive safe do you only the bad ones.

@wheeliehome ok you must be one sensible sport bike driver... but in regards to bike breaking the traffic rules I see it every day, several times a day, most common is overtaking where its not permitted and over speed limit on a short distance and over speed limit while overtaking etc... but thats what happens to the men in video driving 50 mph faster than everyone else... (70-80 mph)

@MrVatlex .You say you see bikes riding illegally several times a day how many other road users do illegal stuff? I bought mine because I wanted to I am free do buy whatever I lik and a good rider can ride a sports bike as a sports bike safely. Why would someone buy a sports car and not drive it as a sports car?
