    Customer Reviews:

Ordered watch for my wife's birthday. Had it gift wrapped so we never even looked at the watch until she opened it on her birthday. It was a mans watch. She was so disapointed as was I. I got online with a courteous young lady who apologized and said she would do whatever it takes to rectify the situation. Not eough time to get a new ...

  • You get what you pay for. It is the position of the watchmaking, and other industries, that the production and sale of these "cheap knock-off" products are in direct support of "Child Labor and Terrorism". The components are of inferior quality, and it is my experience that you will continue to have issues with these watches because of poor quality of material and components. They fall apart when you work on them. That is the reason why I do not spend time working on these products.

  • I have a real tag heuer Carrera calibre 6

  • i have an ORIGINAL seiko

  • Most important is that it keeps the time. And wtf no matter how close it is, if its expensive... then its better to get real ones haha :D

  • and what about those "replica" Swatches sold in China? anybody have any experiences with those?

  • My watch collector buddy in Sweden bought 2 Tissot Le Locle 'fake/replica' from China. He stuck with the white dial so offered the black to me. All I can say is that should I decide to get the genuine one , I wouldn't buy it unless it was in my hand & movement checked for authenticity, it's that good for £50 ! If it breaks, I'll take the bracelet off it, & bin the watch ! Same for GMT Master . I own genuine Omega, Zenith, Seiko, + 40 vintage. 'Fake' is ok 4 me, no conscience 2nd hand

  • nice fakemaster watch

  • i dont care fake or what as long as the watch looks nice and works perfectly i'll keep hold to it...

  • all watch are same.i love fake watch because there cheap and quality same as real one.

  • fake watch are quality than a real one

  • I hate fake watches!. I have an ORIGINAL casio databank (40$) and im proud of him! ;)

  • I just cannot understand why someone would want to make a fake when the fake is just as good as the real and probably takes just as much time and money in material to make. Fake and real are exactly the same therefore fake = real.

  • A watch's function is to keep time, as accurately as mechanically possible, show me a fake watch that keeps time accurately.....

  • I REALLY HATE THIS GUY, I'M ANTI FAKE THINGS.. IN MY WHOLE LIFE I NEVER BUY FAKE THINGS.. THIS GUY REALLY DUMB HEAD!!! FUCK U MAN!!

  • my fake omega speedmaster from this movie works properly from 6 yars , even wos drop wrom 5 floor on the grass ground - still works , all material (case , bransolet) is steel - its mean - watchstill looks like new one . Sadly this replca watch dont want corupt :) so chinese people can made good watch ? (omega cost in 2005 - 400$)

  • This is not cheated, of couz it is fake, what r u expect from a replica?

  • i dont understand the meaning and the purpose of this video...

  • look you can buy a knock off that looks and works just like the real one for 100 dollars or spend 10,000+ on the real one.... you tell me who the dumb ass is.

  • @Zippylqd I would conditionally agree - with the condition being that intellectual property rights are respected in all cases. Nameless knockoffs are one thing; frauds quite another. I paid USD$250.00 for a mushroom-brand clone of the Rolex GMT Master II, for example. Worth every penny, too. Difference is that it dose NOT claim to be a Rolex or any similar name brand.

  • I see...you've also use a fake Chinese digital video recorder...

  • @ellebal1111

I see...you've also use a fake Chinese digital video recorder...

no , recorder was genuine olympus 560uz ....

  • @ellebal1111

not i was use camera olypus 560UZ to take these videos

  • well it just boils down to one thing. What does it feel to u? If you are looking for a nice looking watch but cannot afford the real one, then go for a replica. It also tells the time. gud luck

  • @AJH0014

...u right ...and works properly from 5 years ....

  • I want a luxury watch, to. what do i do to get one? simple get the replica. oh sure i could have pull out a 2nd and 3rd mortgage and buy that 12 million dollar one i saw and pay 2500 dollars a week for 94 years, but that wouldn't be a good idea and ill most likely be dead before i get it payed off so ill just get the copy. if it gets stolen ill just go and buy another one for $80. I ❤ REPLICAS! they are just as beautiful and at 100,000th the price. my replica is a...

  • Don't compare yourself to those who have more than you with jealousy and bitterness.

Compare yourself to those who have far less than you and have :thanks, gratitude and a true appreciation of how lucky you really are.Possessions do not define your worth as a person!Fake watch people who berate the Rolex owners just remember- YOU ARE NOT DYING FROM HUNGER IN A 3rd WORLD COUNTRY so be grateful for what you are and what you have not what you wish you were.

  • @jjjjames111

some where in the space living creature so poor you can't even imagine ....maybe i should compare to them ??? why to 3rd world ? because you know only what u can see ? they call this as : "no imagination" and living with rules in our jail - knowing earth . be free , don't look for others , DO WHAT U WANT AND WEAR WHAT U WANT .

  • @jjjjames111

    btw. U right ...

  • Chinese watch movements are not fake, it only turns to be unscrupulously fake and bad when they imitate a certain brand.

  • I have to say something, I get the point of this video, but to emphasize about the movement being fake is wrong, that is not a fake movement, that is a legit movement made in china, very reliable by the way with respectable brands to back them up, like seagull or shangai movements, but in the way these brands get f'd up and bad reputed by unscrupolous people that make fakes and that is totally wrong because it damages their industry, but anyone that knows about watches can tell you that chinese

  • A friend raved to me about how fantastic his £50 fake Speedmaster was, how it was "indistinguishable from the real thing" and how great the build quality was. I told him I had a genuine one and we could compare, side by side. He said "sure, I'd like to do that". After we put the two together and he had a proper look at both he soon realised he had bought a piece of crap. His fifty quid had turned into embarrassment and disappointment. It was shit in comparison to the real watch.

  • True watch enthusiasts and those who appreciate beautiful engineering and design work hard, save hard and buy beautifully engineered genuine watches. Those who buy fakes are flaky types who value appearance over substance. It's all a bit sad really. Before I could afford my one "luxury" watch (Omega Speedmaster) I bought Citizen and Seiko mechanicals. Good honest timepieces at honest prices. These fakes are both more than a little sad and illegal. A bit like their buyers and wearers.

  • I'm not wearing a fake watch made by some scumbag who makes his living stealing the intellectual property belonging to someone else. You have a brilliant idea, I come along and claim it as my own, make money off of your idea. How happy are you going to be about that. Those who make fake watches are nothing more than low-life thieves. And I'm not going to support them with my hard-earned money. I'm not rich. I buy affordable watches. All reliable, all 100% real. I don't support thieves.

  • @NGMonocrom

I second every word. Well said. Fakes are bad all round. Who would be proud to hand a counterfeit, basically junk, down the family for generations? It's a joke.

  • U make a point here! Any of these movements on fake watches are relaiable! Is up to you to buy them or not. Personally I prefer buying chinese mushroom brands or germasians than fakes, they are also very reliable but QC is little wack! But the best fun is when they break and i have to play watchmaker!! ^_^

  • Buying a fake watch is like fu.... a blow up doll. And wish you had a real one

  • I have a inexpensive Chinese automatic watch, not replica. It had keep good time for a year and received several good compliment on it's style. The quality is fair. I would not test it on water resistance.

  • I can't believe all the Chinese trying to sell their CRAP FAKE watches on YouTube! You get what you pay for.

  • One correction: the fake Lemania movement is a Chinese Seagull ST19 and not a Poljot 3017. The ST19 is actually a better movement than the Poljot so yeah. Still nothing even slightly like a real Swiss watch made in a factory (as opposed to a Beijing sweatshop) of course.

  • $80 to service an automatic movement too much? LoL Maybe... But, no where near the $400 it took to service my Seamaster. The alternative? use it till it just stops working... but, after 4 years of reliable service, I was curious about the movement. So, I took it to a local watchguy to give it an experienced "once over". It's certainly not on par with anything Swiss but... it was, and continues to be, worth the scratch I paid. A little oil and it runs -30 to -45 seconds a day; not too shabby...

  • I own a 7 year old Asian 7750 an it works fine. Keeps good time and got it serviced for $80. the watchman was impressed at the quality of the Asian clone. they're nowhere near as bad as they're portrayed to be. Folks "down" the clone because of what it is; a clone. But, mine works like a champ.

  • @BigBlue0002 congrats on the watch,i just think $80 for service may be too much but who knows.anyway enjoy

  • These Chinese fakes are getting better. Did you know, for instance, that they will take an ETA movement from a cheaper watch and put it in the case of a more expensive one? For brands like Omega, this is a huge problem since they use "mass produced" (I use the term lightly) movements.

  • China is ripping everyone off. That's like supporting a drug dealer or burglar in your neighborhood. Nuke 'em.

  • all of these are fake, you know why? because you can't afford a better camera.

  • you have a lousy camera but ye got watches sell the watches buy a cam lol,,,i got your reply

  • @Boeing747fourhundred

If they are so " good" at making reliable movements , why cant they make something of their own and market it?

    -----

They did .... so many things u can count :) ... i know that most of people buying cheapest stuff ...BUT expensive one come from CHINA too :)

Dont buy chinese watches - i agree with U .

  • Original rolex or omega will last forever...thats the great difference from fakes...ahahahah

  • @ozzymustaine

absolutly right ............... but submariner from china ( fake eta 2824 - dood steel L316 ) is better made than 200-300$ D&G or Versace watches :):) sooorrrrrrry - i'm sure that ....

  • @ozzymustaine I can tell you that no mechanical watch will last "forever" they will run, but will speed up or slow with age, that's why lifetime warranties have fine print, These watches have be taken in for service every 3-5 years or so and it cost $500 USD to insane amounts. Watchmakers will take apart all the gears, clean and re-oil everything. I have a Rolex from the1970s, it runs, but it's now slow and ticks loud, watchmaker want $1000 to fix because it's "over used"

  • @ozzymustaine anyone who thinks the "luxury" watch R more accurate knows nothing about watches. Mechanical watches will NEVER be as accurate at quartz. so technically a $25 Casio will keep better time. but beauty and craftsmanship of a mechanical watch is beautiful and will give a sense of prestige. THAT is why people buy fakes. Fakes are also not always bad in terms of functionality. They are cheap in cost because standard of living is less and so is labor. Apple products are made in China too.

  • very bad video fuk off get a camera a fake will make a better video

  • @deeryker - i'm really sorry , i have no money for better camera :( ... in my country u can earn 300 - 400$ per month and almost all u must pay for rent room, energy, eat ... so i try save some money to march , i saw good camera Minolta 20 for 55$ :)

    btw. thx for comment ;)

  • that was the Poljot one right? on the left lol..they do use tiny fake rubies in those

  • How sad that people view a watch as a status symbol. We humans are so easily fooled and caught up in materialism. The criteria should be, does it tell the time accurately and is it reliable.

  • @gjheald

right :) that is wise man ;) thx for comment

  • @gjheald Thats fine. You are entitled to your opinion. Obviously you are not a watch enthusiast either. Every one has a passion, for some it's cars, others have different passions. Find your passion and get off posting on watch video clips.

  • @italomagic1 I agree with u! My watches(Omega Planet Ocean Chronograph, Rolex Deepsea Sea Dweller and for accuracy a Tag Aquaracer Chronotimer, give me a pride of ownership and satisfaction at owning such perfect little machines. They make me happy and I love wearing them (even when no-one else is around.)It's not about prestige. It is a passion; the point of which is no more to" tell the time" than the point of owning a classic Ferrari is to get from "A" to "B".Life is short enjoy it!

  • @gjheald Well then by that logic people must view art as a status symbol and anything that's expensive as a status symbol as well. EVERYONE I know that owns a multi thousand dollar watch (at least a dozen people) buy them because it's a hobby and they enjoy the craftsmanship that's gone into their timepieces. I hope you enjoy your Casio or Timex.

  • @gjheald dumbest coment ever everything tells our status, even the way we speak and walk. We live in a material wealth you never see business man in flip flops and shorts at work do ya?

  • I'll buy a 70 to 80 bucks Omega watch than a 100 bucks Seiko for example.More cool watch and if it lasts 4-5 years I'm satisfied.

  • @SacreDro

I'll buy a 70 to 80 bucks Omega watch than a 100 bucks Seiko for example.More cool watch and if it lasts 4-5 years I'm satisfied.

    ---------

if u buy good one ... if not u will do wrong ;) only 30% watches about 100$ are really good - rest of them u can burn or crash :):)

  • the chinese seagull st-19 movement which is installed on that replica speedmaster is a reliable one, nothing wrong with it.

  • Chinese fakes are utter crap.

If you want a good watch, go buy a good watch. You don't have to spend a lot of money to get a decent watch. Tissot and Oris make (relatively) affordable Swiss watches based on good movements. If you're on a budget, you can get a nice Seiko for under $100. My own Vostok Century Time (Russian) cost me $60.

Don't be one of those people who tries to impress others with bling. Only idiots are impressed by such things.

  • @leereyno I have five "luxury watches" the rest are Citizens, Seikos, Casio, Suunto, etc. I personally LOVE Swatches, simple, swiss and most importantly CHEAP. to all the people who say Rolex are more accurate, youR A idiot! Mechanical/Automatics will never be as accurate as a quartz. Spend $35 on a Casio Atomic watch. THAT is as accurate as you can get. I have friends with Rolex -s always freaken late. so does it really matter? Go look at Harry Winston Opus 11. THAT is what watch lovers enjoy

Chinese make shit they cant know what quality is when they are raised and live in a tin shack ,, they only care about profit and stealing is fair game no matter who it is from .

We print on the box PROUDLY NOT MADE IN CHINA

  • the only reliable movements made my chinks right now are the unitas 6497/98 and venus chronos. all their automatics have issues. since eta employs chinks to make their parts, i am sure they will gain better watch making knowledge rather quickly. then they really need to work on quality control to which there is none.

  • china crap for fake people

  • Personally wearing a fake would make me feel cheap. Besides, I like the personal touch, I like the wine or coffee the jeweller gives you as they kiss your ass. I like to register my new watch on the official website, I like to know if it breaks I can take it back and let the dealer sort it out. But most importantly I like to know the watch is as genuine as my degree. People with fake watches, clothes and degrees are cheap wannabes, there is my point right there on why you should buy genuine?

  • @aberdeendeltaforce thats all bullshit blud!! u see nike adidas reebook they all use cheap "workmanship!and if u wear all this clothes u dont feel cheap!!!all ur saying is crap

  • @thatstheowalcott hahaha you wear reebok, nike and addidas and you dont feel cheap? well I really don't know what to say to that other than I rest my case?

  • @aberdeendeltaforce u keep talking bullshit! but china is growing faster than any other country and then u wont laught at'em,

  • @thatstheowalcott What the fuck are you talking about? when did I laugh at china and exactly why am I talking bullshit.....by saying I prefer genuine products? Are you retarded or something. Tell you what ..............why don't you go out and get some 12 year old pregnant after you impress her with your reebok track suit and fake watch. Fucking Chav

  • @thatstheowalcott

u keep talking bullshit! but china is growing faster than any other country and then u wont laught at'em,

    -------------------------------

thx smart one , i though any one discover that ...

  • I've got a few swiss watches which are over 60 years old. Each of them still works great and loses only few secs a day:). Shaw me any of this crap chinese watches that will even work after such long time ;)

  • I went to China touring and bought one of these "Omega" watches (pocket watch) as a souvenir knowing full well how fake it was. So why did I buy it? Simply that's what you should expect from China, I wouldn't have wanted anything else less fake for a souvenir FROM CHINA.

  • Chinese movements are notorious for being completely unreliable. Promoting fake watches as being just as good as the originals is patently dishonest.

  • so what there fake

you can tell time on both

that my friends is the true purpose of this device

  • Comment removed

  • Fake watches are for fake people. The buyer needs to keep this in mind.

  • @audiophile71 so true.

  • Simply because buying a fake watch is stealing the design from someone who spent the time creating something amazing. If China only can steal other designs that doesn't say much about their knowledge or creativity does it?

  • I'm an amateur horologist and I can verify that Chinese watches are usually much lower quality than Swiss, German or even American watches. The Chinese movements I've worked on from the 1980's and 1990's often crumble and fall apart during cleaning, while I've cleaned many Swiss and American watches from the 1920's and earlier with absolutely no issues. You pay more for quality, durability and of course authenticity.

  • @Kirikenz 's a generation out date.

The Chinese are now making copies of the ETA 2824, 2892, Unitas & 7750 ('n derivatives). These copies are as good as the Swiss in regards the parts. but have higher failure rates from over-lubing during assembling suggesting maybe more hand assembly, as opposed to robotic &/or less disciplined quality control/training/supervision. Costing a 1/7 solves this. A horologist deals with this by dissassembly/cleaning/re-assembling/lubing before using them

  • @Kirikenz The Chinese now make copies of the ETA 2824, 2892, Unitas & 7750 ('n derivatives). Part-wise these are as good as the Swiss, but have higher failure rates from over-lubing maybe suggesting less robotics/qualitycontrol/training/supervision. A horologist deals with this by stripping/cleaning/re-assembling/lubing before use. Swiss movt 'makers' Sellita, Soprod & Valanvron assemble ETA clones from Chinese CKD that cost less than the assembly/lubing, making em legally 'Swiss Made'.

  • @decunningstunt well, maybe the materials are from China anyway? Steel, Titanium or whatever used. haha :D Look at Apple iPhone, parts are made in china... nike also made in china... wtf

  • where can i buy a fake omega speedmaster pro grade a replica???? I want one, how much bucks are they?

  • Do you have those fake seiko skx007s or monsters. Dime a friken dozen on ebay hongkong, singapore you name it.

  • You paid what you get

    don't compaint

  • omg cannot see anything in this video

  • WHy I type LIKE THIS and use QUESTION MARKS OF MANY??????

    LOT PUNCUATION IS GOOD!

    I SMART!

  • I'd rather buy the real thing that will properly last me decades like my dads then a fake that will last me a year

  • @wilkinson8707 Depends on the rep. Some of them are so well made that you can swap out parts with originals. Just do your research. I have a real Tag Heuer link chrono, and I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between it and a higher-end rep. In fact, the only way to tell is to open them up. The key is to get the proper movement in the rep, and to use a reputable company. Higher end replicas use sapphire crystal (AR coated), solid-block 316 stainless steel, working chronos, etc.

  • my replica omega died three days ago after a year of working. I'll miss it. It was my inspiration to get the real one.

  • Whats the point in wearing a fake. Just buy a normal warch. Your status in society wont change by wearing a fake £20 watch. In fact its usually people with no class who are in desperate need of love and respect who wear such watches. Do yourself a favour and aim to buy the original with the right means. and see your self esteem will increase, so will your financial circumstances and ultimately you will have the self respect that you are in such desparate need of.

  • I don't understand why people want to wear fake models, same whit cars you don't wanna drive a Ferrari replica now do you? whit a fake engine. Just save your money and buy a real one it gives you more pleasure! or buy a good used one!

  • @Nicklacruz i have both fakes and real luxury watches. i love the feel i get when i wear my fake rolex becasue of the style, it makes a statement. and about enjoyment i got the watch for 25 dollars and it keeps perfect time has a automatic movement for gosh sakes. you should buy a fake that keeps good time and have fun with it, unless you already have the real deal.

  • @Nicklacruz Well a "fake" watch will still tell the time like a Rolex does.

But a fake Ferrari won't drive anywhere near like a real Ferrari does.

I agree that a real Rolex would be better because of the engineering that is behind it, and that might give a nice feeling or so.

  • @Nicklacruz true, but sometimes fake watches are sold to people because they don't know the difference

  • I compared my Fake Speedmaster to my Dad's Original Speedmaster, both with Lamania movements inside. The thing is my watch didn't say Omega on the movement at all =( that's the only way you can tell mine is the fake one.

  • fake watches are for fake people.

    crap from china

  • fake watches are for fake people.

chinese farts do not have any respect, they copy anything.

  • you say you cant get swiss movements in them, but you can, you can get a wide range of ETA movements and some other swiss movements

  • U retarded don't understand the concept of a replica. A person who can afford an authentic one will never buy a replica & the one who can't afford authentic will certianly buy a replica. It's as simple as that. IDIOT!!!!

  • @annykhan1979 I think it's you who doesn't understand. You can wear a rep on a daily basis and not have to worry about dinging up the original, or losing it if you travel frequently, etc. Then you can wear the original for special occasions. This is common practice with expensive jewelry, as well.

  • this video is really crappy, you cant see anything clearly. When its a fake watch, how do you know you get a real ETA inside? Your likely to pay more money for a fake "swiss" movement. That said, i have some fake watches, they are neat to wear and keep time well, I never paid alot for them as there are fake, no one ever seems to notice what watch I wear anyways, so im not out there telling anyone they are real. Whats more foolish though? paying 2-30 grand for a watch? or buy a fake just like it?

  • whoresome wartch dude

  • actually whoever said buying a fake watch is wrong, I am one of those people ok. I have a real seamaster Planet ocean chrono but I travel all over the place I wear the fake one because I don't want my real one stolen or broken! The fakes are just as good as the real thing. I get compliments all the time from it and people don't even know it's not real. I have had an Omega Replica for over a year now and not had one thing go wrong with it! So tell people otherwise that they fall apart...pshhh.

  • the crappest video ever

  • i'm not a Spielberg ....

but i can give you houndret bucks if u knew before about lemania / ETA ISA and all this stuff from my shity movie.... it's only 1% my knowledge about watches

  • fakes are good if they have the same movement as the originals

  • @CantCreat No fake has the same movement of an original. Unless it's some sort of franken rep where a watch expert swaps movements but keeps the old rep case.

  • I think CantCreat meant many real movements are based off eta movements. you can buy eta movements whole sale for 140 to 180 dollars. I think he meant if you get a fake that has an eta movement it's going to be sufficiently equivalent to the genuine eta based movement.

  • BUT THEY HAVE NO ORIGINAL...SADLY

  • @artuszka yes you can get fakes with ETA movements, where is everyone getting the idea that you cant?

  • @theownzer becasue people think that all fakes dont keep good time. i have a fake rolex with a mechanicle/automatic movement that cost 25 dollars, and i keeps perfect time

  • @hello1234172 usually it is the really cheap ones, like my nearly atomic AP Quartz movement, its a JAPAN OS10

  • @CantCreat Rolex and Swatch use similar movement. I kept one Swatch automatic watch 23 jewels. I visit Rolex website. They said they produced their own movement? Trust them if they are more than 200 thousands HK$, otherwise, all are the same. Watches from Japan, Korea and China certified in Swiss become Swiss made. Because, they guaranteed these movements.

  • YOU TYPE LIKE A MOTHERFUCKING BITCH

  • Your an idiot. Rich people buy fake rolexs', especially when they go places that wearing their real one puts them in danger of getting a 10,000 dollar watch stolen when they could get a 100 dollar watch stolen. retard you cant even speak english correctly

  • Why don't replica watches use real working moon phases? They use some sort of day-night indicators in place of the moon phase.

  • f u, ths sux.

  • i have a few reps, value for money.

  • Congratulation for your choices, but i buy only original!! and it lives forever!!

  • I really hate fake watches, it sucks!

  • I say a fake watch is good as long as it gives the same type of movement as the real one

  • evry1 is trying to make a living

and by the way its not Illegal to make fake watches but if u get cut selling them on ebay thats a diffrent story

  • I am sick of all these chinese government blogger at youtube. Chinese are only able to produce crap and fakes. These watches fall apart after 5 days, everyone who tells you different is a lyer. Dont support these stealing and copying bastards.

  • btw. my own original oris with eta just broke and dont change date ,,,,,,, shame .....

but chinese version omega speedmaster (most expensive version)works fine from 4 years ... and some tell me reason why buy swiss watches ????????????

  • @artuszka I don't know, maybe because there real? Whats the warranty on those watches? Unless you go to Bobos, don't buy a fake.

  • @artuszka amen brother

  • I know how you feel, its not enough that they have taken all the maufactuering jobs from Europe and the Americas. They produce fakes of the business's they cannot steal. Swiss watches hollywood DVD's top of the range sunglasses. sure there are better examples,The chinese government looks on and does nothing because it all helps weaken the west. I see "made in china" on anything I like, I take another look around. Chinese produce is generally poorly made crap which is why its normally cheaper

  • @dchinaf4 i have had a fake rolex for a year. it cost me 25 dollars. it has a automatic movement that keeps perfect time. i agree that the quality etc. isnt as good as the original but we are just trying to make statement.

  • @dchinaf4 - you are incorrect sir.

  • @dchinaf4 don't be a china hater because it's better than you in all imaginable ways. some people like fakes, what can you do? demand and supply. great way to make a buck or two, in this case it's a billion dollar plus industry... but seems that you've got ripped off a big time if you bought anything that breaks after 5 days. clearly, you are gullible to everyone's eyes.

  • @bondage2012 You justify copying others designs with "supply and demand"? Theres still a market for slaves that could be justified in the same way.

If they want to sell shitty watches why dont they create some brand of their own? Because they are leeches. They dont want to spend money building a brand the honest way but instead chooses to piggyback on someone elses.

  • @qwasdninja your slavery analogy blown this way out of proportion. don't be mad someone is getting paid and it's not you.

  • @bondage2012 It was supposed to be absurd to highlight the issue with your argument. Im not mad that they get paid and i dont, i dont want to get paid by stealing others' designs and selling low quality copies.

  • @dchinaf4 Actually, I've seen counterfeits that lasted for years. I still wouldn't buy one, though.

  • @dchinaf4 100% right .. all they make is cheap shit .. Made in China = It will fail and you will spend more in the long run

  • I don't know about fakes, but I do know I like my humble Chinese $20 automatic self-winding watch from Dealextreme. It's not a fake, just a no-name brand (IK Colouring). But hey, it looks good, and keeps very accurate time for a mechanical watch (a minute loss per 2 weeks). And isn't that what it really is supposed to be about with a watch? Of course, if you want to make a statement, you can also get the $7 Dealextreme mechanical waving Mao Tse Tung watch.

  • think about this...the chinese can imitate easily even the complicated watches...i'm not surprise...the chinese ancient history prove it that they are better in the world technology and today...of coz...very innovative.... producing the fake watches is a simple job for them

  • thinks about this all copy and no original...something must be wrong with these people...

  • @balqis65

no. they built crap. german investors went back to germany because poor quality

  • I don't condone fake watches..but it needs to be said that its not illegal for China to be manufacturing the actual watch movements. The patents on the 7750, the 6497 and the Venus have all run out. So it perfectly legal for them to produce the movements themselves...so they really arent "fake"...they are just Chinese made versions.

  • I don't see anything wrong with fake watches. especially if you live in a rough area like me. I do own expensive watches but have no problem with walking around with a fake on.

  • that's funny, if I live in a dangerous area, I wouldn't even wanna wear a fake Rolex, fake JLC, fake Panerai etc. I'd rather wear a cheap $10 dollar quartz watch because those people might mistake your fake as the real one and they could chop your hand off.

  • Q&Q huh?

  • This would be good! but the vid quality is sooo por its hard to make out more than a blur!
