  • The coolest gun ever

  • It's Megatron!

  • Thats Richard Fitzpatrick in the video right? Unbeleivable how he built magpul into a multi million dollar buisness by selling a simple mag attachment with a dimes worth of rubber material. One of those ideas where your thinkin its so simple i should have thought of that years ago lol.

  • Another product we will never see....

  • @alebar85 Very true. What's funny is that if this gun appeared in a Bond flick, everybody would make fun of its fakeness. :D

  • lol im kidding about this cause i love magpul but ''magpul making it easier to bring guns on planes!''

  • i remeber somethin similar called ARES smg, but i dont know where.

  • Magpul should make an actual handgun like what they did this the Masada... but not sell it to a company that charges 2x the promised price. (seriously Magpul said the Masada was going to be around $1500 but the ACR is actualy around 3grand)

  • i love it!

  • i love it!

  • This is a ripoff of the UC-M21as see in roboco 2.

  • @chinpowtu but it still looks good

  • HOT!!

  • Nice gizmo but this kind of things can only be usefull in James Bond movies. Not so much in the real world.

  • @eLPeeeS I would disagree, that is a very nice piece of hardware for a lot of uses. We could for instance issue them to pilots for self defense if they go down. I could defiantly see a .45 chambered version for backpackers. Even just for taking up less space in the gun cabinet. Keep up the good work guys

  • @Paradoxmagic True That it would be great for pilots and so would Magpul's PDR

  • @Darkrun9999 This one would be superior to the PDR, it is smaller and takes up less room while packing, though the PDR is a bit more firepower. Either one beats the side arm they carry now

  • Well, aint that nifty

  • That dude looks so pleased with himself.. haha you americans and your guns.

  • @PdashT considering that some of the best weapons on earth have come out of the US and our allies. Example, M16, a weapon that was designed fifty years ago and its variations are still used today. It has been in use for longer than any other firearm. Not to mention that it is probably used in more countries than any other 2nd only to the ak47, maybe. So, please stop thinking all americans are gun slinging red necks, because we arent, but we are all capable of putting a round in your ass

  • Aaah

Well i never take out the trash without my M60, granted, its a little combersome, but really great firepower, for dogs, grannys and other folks that bother me when i take my eveningstrawl.

When we get a drivebye, from a icecream, hotdog or posttrucks, i'll blow em away with my new 72 mil howitzer, nice and clean.

Our street even got the clean of the month award.

Now im on the hunt for a mini or tunguska to really wake neighbourhood.

There is no biz, like the gunnrunnerbiz

  • @DJSEvEN72 you know, ignorant fucks like yourself is why the world thinks we Americans are just gun slinging red necks. Sure, we like our guns, because we wanted to be different from the rest of the world. Our laws arent as loose as you make them out to be. Sure, we have AR rifles, but thats the fastest they get. We dont get full autos, save those who have passed background checks and are mentally stable and payed 10 grand. so, and i say this for a good portion of americans, FUCK YOU

  • Okay everyone, before you criticize it, LEARN ABOUT IT. This IS NOT a weapon to take out for a walk in the park. This IS NOT a weapon made for civilians AT ALL. It is made for military or private security (bodyguards) as a weapon that can be hidden, for escorting a VIP or such. One would imagine that it also has viability for military aircrews, etc. The stock is to brace it, as the Glock 17 is fully automatic, providing accuracy. Stop saying the 9mm round has no punch. LEARN.

  • wow what country do you live in......because where i live (united states, oregon) IF Magpul decided to produce this, civilians would eat it up, guaranteed. Perfect for walking in the park. Light and small.

  • Perfect for walking in the park? What the hell is the matter with you 'I always carry' people? Ignoring the obvious issue of WHY you feel the need to carry 24/7 (paranoia, phallic deficiency, etc), that bulky piece of shit is completely inferior to ANY handgun with regard to both comfort and ease of use.

I own a snub .38 that if I were a tool I could easily carry attached to my belt, in my pants, and nobody would know a thing. Of course, I find it silly to take a gun to the park.

  • the glock 18 is fully automatic not the glock 17

  • @jeep684 Glock 17 is the semi automatic version Glock 18 is fully automatic

  • Where do you put the ammo clip??

  • i want one!!!!!!!!!! magpul hurry up with it!!!!

  • Guns are cool.

Rednecks who wish someone breaks into their house so they have an excuse to shoot someone are not.

  • whats wrong with that, they're taking the criminals attintion away from your home and hopfully taking one more criminal off the streets...

  • Comment removed

  • everything you need to hold up a 7-11, in one small convenient package

  • Well, criminals aren't the only ones with guns... There ARE people who use them for good reason (self-defense?)

  • A store robber wouldn't be able to afford this.

  • where can you buy those? honest question, i have no idea

  • lol no dude you con;t they are just putting the design out there and see what people think and if ther would be a real market out for them. But I have been hearing that they are thinking about starting to put ot out there....

  • I doubt they're going to have it for the civilian market anytime soon. Especially with the administration we have now.

  • they should make it out of metal so it can pass an x-ray, lol

  • i saw it on the military channel it was full auto and designed to be a compact , easily hidden sub gun for under cover narc officers or protection detailes not for taking the dog for a walk

  • this is a interesting design but in order for it to be useful how it is it needs to be full automatic and in .45 or possibly 10mm. but the TDI super V Kriss would still be better. and this concept was copied the FMG 9.

  • In those high calibers, with full automatic, it would be uncontroable and wild, I think it would be better in .380 acp or 9mmm

  • at least .40 S&W

  • man this is the coolest gun i've evers seen!

it looks so practical to me, yet I see a lot of people with firearm experience doubting that.

wouldn't it make a good side arm for let's say swat, vehicle crew,or something?

it looks to me like a step up from a pistol, in nearly the same size.

  • it's a copy of the ARES FMG which was an actual SMG, not a folding glock.

  • That's wild...

  • all of u are DUMBASSSSSS. if u guys new anything about covert ops disguise in c.v.'s this case would be execellent for escorting a person of interest instead of a carrying a assault rilfe...

  • This weapon is useless. Innovation for innovation's sake. If you have a genuine fear of being mugged or raped while walking the dog or taking out the trash, just carry a standard pistol chambered in .380 or larger.

I can draw a glock from a holster faster than this weapon can be made ready to fire.

  • Thats what I said AMEN!!!!!!!! it just doesnt seem practical at all. Plus the stock is far too long coming back on his arm theres no way he could ever be accurate with it.....get you a nice glock 30/.45 cal and dare them to get near you...this weapon is a total waste of time and is not practical

P.S. yes I am female and have 5 years of army US ARMY experience...so I have a stake in this

  • We need more people like you out there. This isn't just a guy's thing women need to participate as well. So I am glad to see military women getting active in things like this. GOOD JOB

  • Comment removed

  • I think part of the idea is to make it somewhat inconspicuous. If you see a glock sitting on a table you're gonna say, "holy shit, its a pistol" but if you see this things you'll think, "holy shit its a....case of some sort"

  • Why would your pistol be exposed? It's a CONCEALED weapon remember? This weapon is for tactical wannabes. You know, the kind of assholes who put $3k into an AR-15 set-up when a stock AK sells for $500 and does the same job.

    People make me laugh.

  • if you think AKs and ARs so the same job, then you need to do some homework, while they are both guns, they are entirely different.

  • For civilian civil defense (and extending your penis), an AK is just as effective as an AR-15. In reality land, if you ever need to shoot at soldiers, you're not engaging long distance, and you're not engaging over a long time. AR15's are for idiots with too much money.

Vietnam. AK47 performed quite well, and a lot of American caskets were filled by 7.62x39mm. They run $500 for a high-end version and they kill people just as dead.

  • Why would you pistol be in open carry? What if you are the security for your neighborhood. Open carry is your option. If you don't want the hassle of concealing a weapon (slow as fuck to draw) then have this out in the open....and no ones the wiser. This will NOT do the same thing as a concealed handgun or other weapon, nor will it perform the same as open carry. Remember to add the psychological effect when carrying....open or concealed

  • Security for your neighborhood is in the habit of openly carrying sidearms? Surely you jest. Even so, a handgun is a more effective tool for killing bad people than the toy in the video because it takes less time to deploy even if concealed (a belt holster isn't complicated, if you're slow, you just suck at drawing a weapon).

Psychological effect? For whom? The bad guy will freak when he sees a muzzle, regardless of what it is. Ever looked down the barrel of a .25? Scary shit.

  • i am so getting this little guy. that is on the front edge of design. increadable.

  • In its current form, it would be classified as a SBR(short barreled rifle) and you would have to buy a $200 tax stamp to have it.

  • No, its a pistol. Read the title...

  • The government would consider it to be a short barreled rifle because of the stock. I AM THE GUN MASTER!!!!

  • Well, my buddy sells pistols with stocks.. and they would go by what the company that made it called it...

  • I agree that it's still a pistol, the american government doesn't, but most law makers don't know crap about guns.

  • The American Government would file it as an A.O.W.. Because it folds and they could care a less about the barrel. I called them to confirm this... and this is my last comment...

  • ALL HAIL MASTER OF THE GUNS!

  • BOW TO ME!

  • you obviously don't know how gun laws work.

  • Make a version for the Glock 20/21 for real stopping power.

  • im thinking more along the lines of a 1911 MEU

  • it'd be nice to have in your survival kit or if you were to go camping somewhere where you may meet a bear or mountain lion. Might not kill them, but it'll make a big enough 'pop' to scare them

  • When can i get my hands on one of these babys?

  • 5.7x28mm FN...then I'm interested (would increase magazine capacity probably to 40 rounds, accurate to 100+ meters and would penetrate body armor...

  • Good for a PDW, terrible for anything else. If you have to get through armor, you're going to have shit stopping power.

  • Could build one around an FN fiveseven.

  • That is a great idea, using Glock parts and mags. A ccw SBR. Good stuff.

  • it's a stealth Glock. Very nice.

  • look at mah new flashlight...

    bombombombombombombombombom!!!!!

  • booooring

  • not a switch blade, it's switch gun. NICE. VERY NICE

  • I wonder if they'll make it in a .45 caliber... in any case, it looks like a good modernization to the US Ares-FMG and the Russian PP90. BTW... they should add this gun in another Resident Evil game.

  • it seems like it would fit any glock

  • good idea. might not be too many chances to try it out. unless you live in heavily populated areas.

  • This would be pretty good for Spec. Ops.

  • Spec Ops would have prefer the MP7. This gun is mainly design mainly for concealment and deception. Maybe the CIA agents in foreign lands would use it.

  • I love the idea of that weapon, and mechanically its brilliant, but the military arent too fussed about concealability or size (tank crews use weapons like the p90) and undercover cops would just have regular guns under their vests. Great concept though.

  • it's just a glock handgun surrounded by hinges and housing. Just put a glock inside a cigar box for the same concealability.

  • neat that it folds, but how is it any better than any other hand gun?

  • neat that it folds, but how is it any better than any other hand gun?

  • no one will expect that that is a pistol

  • Q: how is it any better than any other hand gun?

A: cause it turns peoples reactions from

"ha ha nice pencil case" to "oh shit please don't hurt me" with the press of a button

  • it is a michine gun

  • no its not you dumb fuck.

they have hiden it in a flip out stock and butt dont talk about guns little boy go back to hugging you mums leg

  • Technically it can be a machine gun, if they decide to make it full auto. So YOU shut the fuck up retard.

  • having a bad day i see (what is your problem)

  • It has a stock, a longer barrel than is typical for that model of pistol, and presumably would also have better sights. This would make it a much more accurate weapon than "any other handgun". Also, since this weapon can accept a full-auto Glock 18 receiver, it would be a practical submachine gun. The G18 is uselessly uncontrollably on full-auto, and this would make it controllable and practical.

  • I hope you're not holding your breath, because it will be a long wait. Despite what you see in movies and hip hop videos, "real" gang members are not bling-bling and 50 Cent with their M-11s and Glocks. Real gang members use anything that goes "bang", which usually equates to old and disused revolvers and inexpensive pistols like the Hi-Point. Gangs would have no practical application whatsoever for this weapon, and would likely not be able to afford it.

  • its all about functionality. If ever your in a situation where you need to be "armed and ready" the last thing you want is a weapon that has to under go a transformation befor it can function. duct tape and a flash is cheaper and faster.

  • I see this as being a viable alternative to an SMG like the H&K MP7. An operator who uses an M16 or other assault rifle as their primary can conceal this quite easily on their person, and have it open up with a stock and 33 9mm rounds at the ready, as opposed to the MP7 where the operator needs to unholster, load a 40-rd mag with proprietary ammo and extend the buttstock if necessary.

  • Why would an operator who can afford to open carry a full-sized automatic rifle need to "conceal" anything? The pistol is, after all, a secondary or "backup" weapon. Drawing a 1911 or any other conventional pistol from a conventional holster will *always* be faster than deploying this, or any other stocked automatic weapon.

  • It's a hypothetical scenario I made off the top of my head; I've shot before, not necessarily an expert on tactics though.

If anything, I suppose several can be stacked in a locker, drawer, or other storage without any wasted space. =P

  • Its for businessmen and diplomats who are often targets of rebels, terrorists, etc.

  • Diplomats have domestic and foreign security services to protect them. Businessmen with a risk of assassination frequently hire executive protection services. People in those situations sometimes carry small pistols for last-ditch personal protection, but they are neither trained nor eager to carry automatic weapons for use in combat.

  • Whoa what business do you run that risk?

  • Well, I for one live in a very liberal area of Virginia. While it's legal to open-carry, you'll still be stopped and hassled by cops, and cause a general panic around you. Hanging one of those from your belt (or attaching it to the back of a bicycle) would allow me to carry a decent weapon without inciting hysteria.

That, and it fits in a woman's purse. Plus, think of the psychological impact of that weapon: IT'S A FUCKING DECEPTICON.

  • You live in a very liberal area so you need a gun. This doesn't answer my question. I wanted to know what kind of business people who need executive protection serivces with full autos. This sounds like an exciting life if you weren't closing the blinds at night to avoid snipers.

  • Oh, I wasn't saying I'm a businessman or diplomat, I'm simply pointing out a situation where it would actually be useful.

  • @tsaketh Except it would be restricted anyway. The stock makes it a short barreled rifle.

  • @tsaketh yeah you'll probably get stopped wherever you are. Some areas are worse though (look at Cali's 12031e check) Won't this be an SBR though? not sure what you are and aren't allowed to open carry, I think it depends on the state.

  • The MP7 also has a 20 rd short magazine, so you wouldn't have to load it when you drew it, or unslung it, and the stock doesn't take long to pull out.

  • I SOOOOO Want One!

  • wow!

  • Sounds like your typical hyped up uberliberal rabble babble. Funny, I don't see mortality rates increasing even though the assault weapons ban has been up for awhile now. There are no places that this gun can be sneaked into that a normal Glock can't. You could just as easily hide your Glock in a little plastic case, and conceal it all the same. This is just much cooler than that. You buzz kill son of a bitch.

  • It's been human nature to kill other humans forever. Before we had guns, we had swords. Before we had swords we had arrows. Before we had arrows we had sticks and stones. If someone wanted to kill someone else and guns weren't an available weapon than he or she would find another way to do it. It's that simple.

  • I made this theory that anything and everything in this world can be used as a weapon. I'm still trying to prove it though.

  • how about cloud of evaporated water?

  • the ultimate in stealth weaponry...... well, uhh.... you could... uhh... oh! i got it! you could unevaporatize the water and drown someone. im a genius. i know. but the ultimate weapon would definately have to be a rice krispy treat. or a donut. the donut would definately have to have sprinkles though.

  • I guess you could send a powerful electrical current through it so a person not noramally reachable by such a charge.

  • this was the first thing that came to mind.

  • Ah, so the gun-grabbers are now down to hoping that black paint doesn't exist... I move that we are winning.

  • I f-n need 12 of them Dang!

  • that thing is suhweeet!

  • watch?v=dqDSlaQxhEw

  • watch?v=dqDSlaQxhEw

  • WTF?? A 80's music video remake? Why would any one want to watch that? Whats it got to do with a gun?

  • Can anyone say Laptop Gun!?

  • It's a good idea, but not the ONLY good idea. With minor skills one could build a similar assembly for other handguns...

  • $200 tax stamp required for Short Barreled Rifle but if your a legal citizen in good standing that shouldn't be a problem.

The $200 tax stamp has remained constant since 1934 and back in the beginning the average Joe would've busted his balls for a few months to be able to afford one!

Now, nearly 75 years later $200 is a tax stamp bargain!

  • i got one but made it from a lunch box..

  • Dude this is preaty nifty, but i don't see why anyone would need something like this :P

  • soul, why do you believe someone has to have a NEED for such a product? Or ANY product that is so clever? Say I were to buy a red Corvette, I do not 'need' a fast car but I sure would like to own one like that. Though I do not "need" another machine gun, I would go with this if I could just because its new.

  • discretion comes to mind--it looks like my external hard drive, a lot less threatening than even a fake plastic gun... and depending on where I'm going and who I might encounter on the way, discretion could be a factor. It might be good for someone with kids, too, since you can put it on the top shelf of a closet and it will go unnoticed by them and potential guests (invited or not) who might steal--or question the okayness of--a costly gun...

  • To those saying guns are bad: Are you retarded? The reason why citizens are allowed to bear arms in america is because that in the event that the american gov MIGHT decide to use military force on the citizens, the citizens can defend themselves. And the reason why more high-tech weapons are available to the citizens is because our military is also adapting.

  • What's the point to this? You lose concealability and I think you get a Federal violation for putting a stock onto a pistol frame (not sure about that) I would rather carry the glock in a holster and use it like so than some big bulky contraption like that.

  • If its a submachine gun (about the size of a Glock) it doesnt matter if its got a stock or not with the right papers. (no such thing as a 'license' other than ccw). As far as concealability, who cares if you can't tuck it in your pants and end up mashing your taters by accident when you can just carry it in your hand and no body knows what it is. As far as they know, its some sort of funky new laptop or book.

  • that looks like its for hunting! not killing!

  • haha i feel sorry for whatever your hunting...

  • Where do you out the staples?

  • What we NEED is a gun shaped like a sammich. That way if I get mugged I can be like "hold on lemme just finish my sammich", and then BAM!

  • brilliant!

  • We have a time, every year, where millions of Michigan men load up and leave home, stocked to the teeth with guns and beer.

    It's called "deer season."

    We rarely have any problems.

Therefore, the mere presence of men+guns+beer does NOT equal murder.

    However, murders+guns= murderers.

    Murderers+guns-citizens with guns=cheaper trials.

  • Not totally disagreeing with you, but maybe the beer should be left at home, just saying.

Guns + Beer = Trip to emergency room

  • "Guns + Beer = Trip to emergency room"

Tree stands plus beer plus guns proves to be a problem too.

    HOWEVER...

The point still is made that the presence of lots of guns, even in the presence of lots of testosterone and beer, in a place where people don't know who you are, still doesn't somehow produce a huge crime rate.

So much for "guns kill people."

Next, we'll tackle the whole "speed kills" mantra.

  • Guns+Beer= fun time

    Guns+Drunk Dumbshits = The ER

  • your scared of guns its people like you who get themselves and ohers killed.

winston churchill replaced a coward like you.

  • Au contraire, my narrow minded gun fearing pestilence ridden bigot.

The only thing taking legal guns away from legal owners would do is increase crimes. All the criminals will still have all their guns. Then, we'll all be defenseless because police can't just magically teleport to you when in need.

Gun lovers are nuts who don't care about life? What would you say to the countless women who have defended themselves from rape with a pistol? They shouldn't have saved their own lives/dignity?

  • HAHAHAHA

I shoot a 22LR for target practice as an olympic sport the statement of "gun lovers are nuts" i complete bullshit. I bet your a fucking democrat too.... go fucking hug a tree and sip your starbucks you fucking pussy.

  • It has less to do with political party than region of residency. A large portion of Democrats in Texas are pro-guns, and a large portion of Republicans in NYC are against them. Then again, in NYC, guns are generally owned by criminals. In Texas, they are usually owned by hunters and "property defenders" on ranches, shooting away threats to their livelihood. And why is it a bad thing to hug trees? Are you accusing gun owners of being the opposite, environmentally apathetic?

  • I would have voted for Ron Paul but it seems that he has about as much chance of winning as my cat.....And I don't own a cat.

  • you are the biggest fucking faggot ever

the people who would think of using that gun to kill people couldnt even fucking afford that anyway

    guns dont kill people

people kill people you fuck face

i could kill someone with a penicl

does that mean we need to ban them to to?

and hell yea we need guns like that

  • you are the biggest fucking faggot ever

the people who would think of using that gun to kill people couldnt even fucking afford that anyway

    guns dont kill people

people kill people you fuck face

i could kill someone with a penicl

does that mean we need to ban them to to?

and hell yea we need guns like that

  • How about we ban you instead?

  • lol ok bro. i'm not sure if ur serious or not but still funny.

  • George, I would never vote for you because even if I over look your lack of intelligence, you still wouldn't take responsibility for your actions and would rather blame an object. Lets say you get.. driving while busted drunk..Hic!...would you blame the bottle for making you drunk? Yeah, lets jail the bottle and sue the pants off the brewer for making you drunk, eh? Then, lets go after the makers of every part of the car you used, and the clothing you wore because they had a hand in it too.

  • If guns kill people, spoons make people fat.

  • If I could +10 this comment, I would.

  • that is awsome!!!! I need to get me a glock

  • wait, thinking about it, so does cholesterol, smoking, plane crashes, chuteless skydiving, heart disease, aids, cancer, kitchen knives, blunt force trauma and drunk drivers.

  • in response to jmied, guns don't kill people, people don't kill people. bullets, they kill people.

  • *sigh* many times has the human race ben over this, guns dont kill people, people kill people they are the idiots that chose to pull the trigger.

  • when can i buy this!!!!!!!

  • Great,now i have to move to a state that allows SBR's!

  • Guns don't kill people. Guys with moustaches do.

  • comment was meant as a reply to George Prick Hill

  • I spy a 7.62x51 ACR at the very last few seconds of the video... :D

Btw. Magpul should definately continue with this idea. It would be great for just about anybody. Really good idea, they should persue it.

  • George, you seem very uncouth. Even if 'they' did out law guns and picked up every single commercially made one, do you think that criminals wouldn't simply build one out of waterpipes and sheet metal? It is amazing how people think that criminals are stupid. Tell me, when was the last time you could get crack at wal greens? I bet you a criminal can get me some in 10 minutes even though its illegal since....

  • Thank you for approaching him with sensible logic (a lot of pro-gun people still end up overreacting and losing the battle by being just as stupid as the person they are disputing against.)
