Its nice to see someone NOT always doing burnouts just about every car i look for the first vid is someone doing a burnout/drag these cars have nothing to prove history says so I love "drives" like these hope to see more like this. a little respect to these cars are due. all old cars are so rare now I'm a mopar guy 100% but I respect the big 3 classics. every 1 wrecked is 1 less for the future to enjoy. these were built with purpose and style not like these stupid cookie cutter junk of today
Please at least know what you are talking about when telling someone how to restore their car. ALL 69' factory 440-6 cars had that hood. Its a lift off fibreglass hood that was part of the 6 pack package. Its supposed to be flat black, but that is the correct hood for that car. It only came on the 69' 6 pack cars..
Great looking Bee, If you are going to put back factory original you need to change the aftermarket hood.I had a 69 Bee back in 1984, it had 426 hemi from factory, and my brother had a 69 with 440 six pack and none of them came from the factory with that type of hood. Don't get me wrong, I like your hood, I was just going by what you said about restoring it back to factory.
My sisters boyfriend bought one new in 67. I was 10 when he came over to show it off.
He slammed me back in the seat so hard and slapped gears so fast I thought I was in heaven. THAT exact car will always be my "Dream Car". Kudos for owning that perfect machine. It s wonderful.
