@sikarux @TehMoff  is because the name of the band, tenochtitlan is the name of a place in mexico, and because some bands in mexico put names likes this and sing in english so some people think they are mexican, but this band is so fucking awesome :D

Incas never existed in Mexico, those are from Peru.

Anyway, even though Mayas were on Mexico's south and also in other countries such as Guatemala and Honduras, Aztecs, which were the rulers of Tenochtitlan and adored Huitzilopochtli, which is what this song is about, were ONLY in Mexico.

Anyway, it's true anyone from any country can do music about it, it is also true that it's most usual in Mexico, as it is our past, and most prehispanic aztec groups are from Mexico.

@TehMoff Because of their name. Tenochtitlan is an Aztec ruin in Mexico. Second, because of the instruments they use. The flute they use in the intro is a typical native American instrument.
