Brown's a textbook example of someone largely forgotten now, but in truth one of the best of his time. On the short list of best backs in Oiler history and did well here in NYC.
Ahhhh, Gary Brown! He was the key ingredient to the 1993 team! That loss to the Chiefs still hurts me to this day! I truly believe had this team came out and got past the divisional round after the week off they would have avenged Buffalo in the AFC Championship and definitely beat the Cowboys. Buddy’s defense was nasty & this offense could match with anyone in the league.
hahaaaa GB was my running back coach in college. He threw the pads on and showed our D what the fuck was up one time haha he could move like a mother fucker even at 250. Great coach and a great man, wish him the best!
I was just thinking about Gary Brown's performance that season....it was really a good feeling to see him break out and make such an impact. What stuck out the most about him was his balance and elusiveness. He had short quick steps but he could move considering his stocky build.
Brown's forgotten now but was a dominant back who reminded me alot of Earl. Best power back of his era, too bad he didn't continue with the Giants, i think he retired for off-field and/or injury reasons.
Who says you cant run w/o a tight end. The Oilers were the best team to never win the big one. Sean Jones told Jim Rome that was the best team he was ever on. Better than the Packers who he had won a SuperBowl. Luv ya Blue..
was the Chiefs that year? i remember watching the game in Dallas visiting my grandparents as a 13 yr old kid. after watching them lose to the Chiefs a year after choking against Buffalo, i had to cry. so i cried.
i still miss and love da Oilers. LUV YA BLUE!
Astrodome - HOUSE OF PAIN!!! we wrecked many teams in there. damn, we were noisy and mean w that Black and Blue Division
hpd77 - let's hunt mr milton down, tie him up, and send his ass to buffalo
i used to love watching the oilers, til bud adams (who looks like he's related to gomez and morticia) moved them to tennessee. they're creepy and they're cooky, mysterious and spooky, they're all together ooky, bud adams' family!

What happened to him? was he just out of shape? or just injury prone? because he was one and done after this.
