  • sooo prefect timing I found this series of videos - you already helped me remember the weekdays and now the exact verbs I'm always mixing up! arigatou gozaimasu! :D

  • YES, KNOWLEDGE, COME BACK TO ME >:D

  • just adding for the confusion..hehe.., buy = kaimasu, listen/hear = kikimasu, write = kakimasu..

  • Though I heard that there is no R sound in Japanese I would swear I sometimes hear it. Bit confusing :P

  • @CrashPilot4 there´s no L, the hiragana syllabary there are characters for ra,ri,ru,re and ro but you pronounce the japanese r like a strange mix of d,l and r...

  • Omg I just love how she says cupcake in jap.. What an adorable lady!

  • @shikanda25 You might want to refrain from saying "Jap." It's considered rude by most people.

  • @TheHuggableAsian

I had absolutely no idea. Thanks for pointing that out!

  • The Japanese talk like Yoda!

  • I better practice. I don't want to eat CDs or listen to wine either =-p.

  • @lslewis No, me neither...although, sometimes when I listen to too much wine, I end up eating cds...*hiccup...hiccup, snore*.

  • veRY infOrmATiVE

  • sHY CAS.

  • sensei: "So when it is a question, you need to add 'ka', do you remember that?"

Me: "HAI, SENSEI! >W< " *shouts like a kid*

  • I like your lesson..I'm learning Japanese and I feel like I am really participating when I watch your lesson. you are a good teacher. =)

  • if I want to ask "What do we eat tomorrow?" ... does it also mean "Ashita nani wo tabemasu?" ?! :D

  • arigato sensei ....

  • I always pause before the answer is given and try to find by myself, it is a really good exercise and a really good video !

  • eigo no hatuon ga warui

  • in nomimasu and the others would you change it it nomimasen to make it mean "to not drink" so would "wain o nomimasen" be "to not drink wine" ?

  • she iz a good SENSEI BIGGG UP

  • Thanks for the leason sensei! I have one question onegai-shimasu!

Why do I get "Taberu \ Taberu-koto" when I search for "eat \ to eat" translation?

  • this hurts my brain

  • @Falcondick69 don't try so hard then. ^^

  • How do you make eiga o sound less like egao?

  • That is super helpful.

    Arigatou Gozaimasu

    ^.^

  • ありがとうございました!

  • Thanks! Helpful x)

  • Thank you so much! This is very helpful!

  • Thank you sensei ;-)

  • i love this video you have created!! Domo arigato-gozaimsu Sensei. You are a far more better teacher than anyone who has taught me Japanese!! ^_^

  • ichi to wa baka desu! how could one person possibly dislike this video D:<

  • How do you say (do you want to eat steak?)

  • @1235CrazyMonkey

suteiki wa tabetai? since no one had answered you yet :]

  • @ciaoskater

sorry, it's better said with o particle, not wa...I should go to bed now..

  • I grew up in Japan so I just listen to these videos and it all comes back. Hope to get fluent again. So much easier than learning from books or finding someone to converse with you in Japanese.

  • Question! Do verbs in Japanese vary depending on *who is doing what? Like in Spanish -I go, you go, he goes, we go, etc. ? Thank you so much for the lessons! :D

  • @WorldisArt ~ Japanese doesn't really have a 'singular, plural' or '1st, 2nd, 3rd person' chart like many other languages. Like 'tabemasu' could mean; I eat, you eat, he eats, they eat, we eat, etc. Makes life simple.

    ^_^ MilesTailsPrower

  • @MiIesTailsPrower Tabemasu

  • @WorldisArt Tabemasu simply means to eat which would be too vague to indicate who is eating. If a person makes a gesture before eating then says tabemasu then that is acceptable to show the one with the food will be eating, but it would be better to say who is eating for clarification. Watashi wa tabemasu yo (I will eat it), aitsu ga tabemasu yo (he/she will eat it), watashitachi wa tabemasu yo (we will eat it), aitsutachi ga tabemasu yo (Those guys/girls will eat it) ("Yo" isn't necessary).
