The There 3D world ís not open yet, only ThereIM is availible, but from the recent released pictures on Michael Wilsons blog it must be very close to be opening its gates.

Keep following his blog, thats where you will get the news from first.

Hey Aqua. Real props man, thats some amazing Hoverboarding. You were the one who inspired me to play There. I can't believe its gone. I was on during the last few months. Just so you know, the snow place with the houses wasn't drivable when i played. Just on the outskirts of that town.

Ya! it sux There is gone.

The snowplace aka Frosty Island, shaped like a snowman, the develupment zone had houses owned by other members some had "no vehicles" on + Santas Workshop was no drive too.

U might have run into one of those.

Mostly you could drive around in the area if u kept safe distance to the houses. But well dosen't matter now does it :(

I would love to see THERE reopen.

Yeah what a shame :( I would have had my 7th year anniversary July 2010 it has been an amazing voyage to follow THERE from beta to where it was on the day it closed. Some of my old friends who had left over the years came back during those last days, it was a rush to get to talk to those people again.

yeah..it was a rumor that it was reopening. ive been reading michael wilsons blog since it closed..hes been telling everyone to stop listening to the rumors and such </3 i hope one day he finds a way to reopen!

ya its a darn shame There closed.

Worst part is loosing the awsome playground to hang with ma friends.

Second, not beeing able to take out one of ma fav. hoverboards n just do trix on all "natural" ramps as u just zoom across the islands :o)

And to answer yer other Q sorry no its not comming back.

There were too high costs to keep the ship afloat, even with monthly sub. it couldent do. So I just wonder how it managed to stay up for 7 years.

The vMTV i know and liked was the one build on the There client.

I never went with their so called "upgrade" aka 2D that they claim better than the 3D world.

So in my eyes vMTV is closed too, happend back in 2009 if i recall.

If you haven't tried There. com you should go to their website and make an account. The basic account is free, and you can try out hoverboarding and any of the other cool vehicles there is. The board I use in this video is the Freestyle type.

Hi Street, that trick you do by pressing up and down arrow at the same time.

You have to use a freestyle board, if u do this trick on any other board you do a superman.

The spinning I get by moving mouse to left or right.

Hi pandelemy, There. com is PG13 so 13 and up :o)

I have chatted with people as far up as 60+ so There. com is really used by all ages. That is what makes There such a cool place, you can meet a lot of interresting people.

Hi LucileandLourdes, best would be if you came to one of the board training events held by greeters and Island Guides. They happy to show you how the different boards work and how to do the tricks. Allso you can look arround Fisher Island vehicle zone for Guides and ask.

the 1 trick i do at the begining you have to use up and down arrow. There is another one where you legs are bent, to do that use left/down/right arrow key at same time. I would recomend ya to look for the welcome events held by the greeters and guides we have fun events that allso teach you how to board.

The boards that makes you do the most and fun tricks are the Freestyle boards. When you started on There you got a free Cruiser board. Those are use for racing.

Look in shop or auction under transports/hoverboards/freesty­le there you find em.

Hi elreinocerca you controle the avatar with either keyboard or mouse. I choose the trick i want with combinations of the arrowkeys, and make it all spin by moving the mouse either left or right. You cant use a joystick with There. But you can voice chat LOL

You can actually use a Joystick, if you have some program installed that converts moves to mouse and arrow moves, I did this before, but I prefer keyboard & mouse in action mode =D
